A Burst of Grapefruit!
Think of a cute girl at college who's a little shy but is super fun once you get to know her, she wears grapefruit earrings with bright rainbow socks. Freckles on her face and soft pink lips, whispy lashes and a coral tinge to her cheeks.

That's what this perfume makes me feel like, like the quirky character in a wattpad story where she'll soon be railed by Harry Styles because he likes that she's reading a book at his concert for some reason. Very specific. BUT that's what this reminds me of. She wears shirts with cartoon characters on them, and has a strange affinity for grapefruit.

That's what this perfume makes me feel like. Like a character! I only wish it lasted longer, and wasn't discontinued :(

A Very Basic Floral
For the almost $20 price point of just a sample of this fragrance I was expecting something incredible. Something that would rattle my mind and make me go “Wow! just wow!”

But this smells like a nice designer fragrance. It’s very…basic. And now there’s nothing wrong with a basic lovely fragrance. But when you’re potentially about to pay a fat amount for said fragrance - you’re expecting something better, deeper, more quality, and definitely longer lasting than a designer perfume.

But…that’s what this is. Nothing new. Nothing fun. Nothing worth that amount of money in the slightest. The most I’d spend for this would be $25 and I’m not even kidding. I swear I’ve smelled this composition before time and time again. The sandalwood and balsam are practically non existent . It is far too light to be worth that much. Save your money please, it’s not a bad fragrance but my word it is certainly not worth it.

A Gentle Kiss of Fruit and Sugary Musk
Swiss Arabian truly is incredible with their perfume oils. The bottles are stunning, and ornate, and steal the stage on any vanity. The oils themselves are beautifully crafted and are a phenomenal standard for affordable yet fragrant perfume oils.

Amaali is no different. He starts off with a light fruity aroma of lemon and pineapple, the juicy apple weaving in the background of this tapestry. From the start, the musk and sandalwood pulsate in the background. The lemon isn't too sharp, and it really nicely blends with the pineapple (I often struggle with pineapple as I find it can be made to be too masculine in my experience), but it's perfect in this composition.
Apple remains steady throughout the heart notes, the jasmine is the first to show herself as the lemon fades. The rose is definitely a bit more of a musky rose, not sweet like Delina or fresh like Roses de Chloe. It's tinged a bit more green.
By the dry-down the lovely caramel is mixing with the cedarwood and amber to create a comforting, soft, safe skin scent. Sweet yet still carefully floral, Amaali is a perfect picnic date scent or office scent for those who like florals and musk.

A Truly Timeless Fragrance
I always say, and will continue to say, that sometimes simplicity is truly an amazing thing.

I have a very deep emotional attachment to this fragrance because...it really does smell like the word "serene". The classic Lavender Vanilla fragrance with a soft brush of Ylang-Ylang and caress of Tonka Bean. A beautiful fragrance that makes your eyes heavy and your heart warm.
This fragrance is a perfect scent for everyone. I have yet to find someone who doesn't love this fragrance, my mother adores it and I can't wait to get her a set of Sleepy/Twilight products for her birthday!
I truly cannot recommend this fragrance enough, it's calming and beautifully made. It genuinely helps me sleep better and is one of the softest and prettiest scents I have had the pleasure of experiencing!

One of the few fragrances I will completely rate a 10/10 without hesitation

Raspberry is Overwhelmed by Galbanum
This was one of my beginning fragrances whenever I worked at a Smoothie King near Marshall's. When I first got this, my nose only identified the top notes and I fell in love with the sweet burst of rasberry, pink pepper, and the patchouli peeking out when sprayed.

However, I soon started to smell this bitterness a few minutes after I sprayed the perfume. It took me weeks to finally figure out exactly what that bitter, biting smell was.
Galbanum.
Now that my nose is developing, I have learned that either Galbanum comes off very stinky and bitter to my nose, or my skin chemistry does NOT like it. This perfume would be lovely without it, but the Galbanum is overpowering the lovely jasmine, freesia, and orris root middle notes.

On first spray this perfume smells quite nice and it seems very safe. The raspberry and pink pepper work well together. But once those top notes wear off, all I get is stinky, rotting, bitter flowers. It's a no for me.

If you like Galbanum and it works well with your skin chemistry, this might be for you! Don't be afraid to try things! Unfortunately, for me personally, this perfume doesn't want to be friends
