A Fragrance with WOW Effect
I have smelled several Jo Malone fragrances, and many of the creations really do smell very good. It is well known that Jo Malone scents do not last very long.
I randomly encountered Myrrh & Tonka last year in Milan, but somehow it didn't manage to convince me. Perhaps the perfume had already gone off in the store, but it quickly faded from my memory afterwards.
A few months later, I rediscovered it in a perfumery; the name had stuck in my mind, and I knew right away: it probably won't smell good this time either. Sprayed on the test strip, and somehow it captivated me immediately this time: that warm sweetness, that spiciness - the scent is simply balanced. The myrrh gives it a very balsamic and, in a special way, calming effect.
So I sprayed it on my skin and thought: WOW! I honestly smelled it all day because I found it incredibly good! The longevity is solid compared to other Jo Malone fragrances.
The price for the small bottle put me off a bit, but I ended up buying it online at a very good price, and I don't regret it to this day.
In the dry down, it becomes quite sweet and slightly woody for me, making it perfect for colder days. When applied lightly, it is also suitable for the office, but due to the composition of the fragrance notes, I find it more suitable for special occasions or for evenings when you want to treat yourself!

Fruity Surprise!
So far, the fragrances from Gisada have not really convinced me - for example, the Titanium smelled more like colored pencil to me, and some others left me with headaches.
At some point, I had accumulated five samples of Ambassador through various purchases at Douglas & Co. that I never really paid attention to - until I eventually tested it while sorting my samples.
And what can I say? Right from the first spray, I was immediately convinced: the fruity freshness, especially the mango, makes the scent instantly likable for me. So, a bottle had to join my collection. It is super suitable for everyday wear, not too intrusive, and develops a nice, woody depth over time.
The longevity on my skin is not outstanding, but overall, Ambassador remains a solid, pleasant fragrance for me.

A Rose in the Rain
Until I have pronounced the name of this fragrance, it has almost disappeared again - but don't worry, that only applies to the title.
The scent itself remains present. For me personally, it smells like the air after a summer rain: fresh, damp, and full of atmosphere. Alongside it is a rose that presents itself intriguingly without slipping too much into the feminine - at least on my skin.
This is all supported by a dark, earthy patchouli note that gives the fragrance a certain depth. Exactly the right mix, making it very wearable in everyday life.
Once again, Eldo has managed to convince me.

Actually, I didn't like Vetiver!
After smelling "Secretions Magnifique" by Eldo in a small perfumery a few months ago, I was so put off by the brand that I didn't dare to try the other fragrances. Anyone who has smelled this scent will know what I mean.
While browsing the internet, I came across Fat Electrician, and to be honest, the name captivated me right away because I found it so unique. After my negative experience with Eldo, I thought that this would also be another uniquely scented fragrance. At least the name suggests that.
So I watched various videos about it, and the descriptions and impressions from others appealed to me so much that I ended up buying the fragrance blind at a relatively good price.
After the first spray, I was immediately thrilled: this combination of vetiver and vanilla captivated me right away and somehow catapulted me back to my childhood. I don't know why!
For me, a beautiful scent that can also be worn well in everyday life. This fragrance has shown me how exciting vetiver can be.

Freshness with an Addictive Factor!
I have seen this fragrance multiple times on popular social media platforms; at some point, it was practically stalking me! After ordering the Discovery Box and testing it, I immediately had to get the bottle. It’s already half empty because I keep reaching for it - whether at the office or in my free time.
Bois Impérial smells fresh, elegant, and incredibly characterful to my nose - a scent that is almost addictive. Compliments are guaranteed.
The sustainable brand concept is a bonus, but the refillable bottle unfortunately stands out negatively due to the (at least for me) leaky spray head.
Still: for me, a modern classic that will definitely be repurchased.
