The walking ashtray
I like to try fragrances that stand out. Since my husband didn't dare to wear this fragrance, I applied two sprays of our bottling.
My first thought was "Ufff....", my husband had applied "Moth" by Zoologist only a few minutes before and after spraying on T-Rex I could no longer perceive "Moth", although it is really present.
When my husband and I go out, we go to goth parties, which means that it's not difficult to smell better than everyone else ;-)
In our house, there are really only the typical patchouli oil wearers, but here and there you can smell Le Male by JPG or Belle Icone by Caline...
It's not difficult to stand out with a fragrance.
In any case, the scent in the DD was already much more pleasant than freshly applied in a closed room, I still associated it with the Christmas tree, which was decorated with real candles...and caught fire. Next to the tree was an ashtray with cigarette butts, which also caught fire.
My husband told me 3-4 hours later that the smell reminded him of cable fire.
Well, I didn't expect to get any compliments that evening, but I still didn't feel uncomfortable. I would wear it again, but with a year off in between. H/S are tremendous and justify the price, however I would not buy the fragrance in original size (definitely test beforehand and don't order blindly).
I put it on on Saturday at 11pm and now I'm sitting in front of my PC on Monday doing home office (...and still felt the urge to write something about this fragrance in between), I still smell like T-Rex.
My skin no longer smells after yesterday's shower, but my hair does, which has taken on the scent excellently thanks to the spray on the back of my neck.
My hair is looking forward to a wash after sport.
This fragrance is and remains brutal. The T-Rex needs a stage (the right occasion) and is not satisfied if you just take it for a walk.
Even if I have taken it out, I smell and see it more on a man.
My tip: don't wear this fragrance to funerals or job interviews ;-)

Expensive rose without lady..
After Xerjoffs Wardasina convinced me and I treated myself to the bottle, I then wanted to test the next rose fragrance.
In advance: I'm not the biggest fan of rose fragrances, so the me must already convince 100%.
Damarose is floral, powdery, dry and tends for me personally rather in the feminine direction.
The fragrance remains but rather monotonous, so for me a headache candidate. I still get a bit of freesia and the two woods, but otherwise I can't really sniff out anything from the base.
The durability is good, the next day I could perceive him now and then until the shower, but the sillage is underground. Damarose is overshadowed quite quickly by other fragrances in the room, thereby I would have expected him to perform like Pikovaya Dama from the 17/17 series.
No, I do not spend 400 € for it. That can other cheaper rose fragrances better.

The Queen can't hold a candle to this lady..
I ordered Queen of Spades from Scentit UK in September 2023 and received it.
The bottle now looks different from the picture on Parfumo.
The bottles all appear to be uniformly shaped and differ only by a printed sticker. The relatively thick foil has been stuck around the corners of the bottle and pricks my palms when I reach for it. High quality is something else, after all this copy costs about 50 €, every other dupe manufacturer has better bottles.
The oil content is high, the fragrance has already formed flakes.
Now to the fragrance:
My husband and I love the original Xerjoff and were looking for a cheap alternative, but unfortunately we were disappointed.
Queen of Spades comes relatively close to Piko, but that's it.
I find the aldehydes in the opening very pungent on the nose and I associate something with Chanel No 5.
Fortunately, it softens as it progresses.
Lasting power and sillage is a 10 out of 10, just like the original.
But the soap note in Piko is unbeatable.
It smells priceless and soft.
Queen of Spades is unfortunately only the drugstore soap version, not bad, but for someone who is looking for the expensive soap and doesn't want to smell like you accidentally reached for grandma's curd soap in the shower, this is not for you.
