When I was on vacation at Lake Constance and spontaneously tested the fragrance, I was quickly hooked. It was a hot day, and I had it sprayed on for testing. We were sitting by the water, and the wind constantly carried the bergamot/orange notes to my nose. Exactly what I needed on that day. Never intrusive, rather subtle and not at all piercing. In my opinion, it is more of a classic, fresh scent compared to the Blu Mediterraneo line, which feels more distinctive.
A few hours later, I had already bought the bottle, mind you at a good price/performance ratio.
Due to the light sillage, I like to spray more of it on without worrying about bothering others. Also, because the longevity is rather mediocre; after a good 4 hours, it has almost completely faded.

During my first test as a beginner with Aventus, I was really impressed. I didn't know many fragrances yet, but I understood the hype early on. The more I delved into Creed, the more I noticed that this scent is worn quite often. Nevertheless, I liked it, and the search for dupes began. This led me to Explorer, which smells very similar but costs only a fraction of the original.
The opening is characterized by citrus and slightly peppery notes. Here, the pineapple, which is noticeable in the original, is missing. The drydown is, in my opinion, dominated by spicier notes, with the bergamot fading more and more.
The longevity is really decent for such an inexpensive perfume, lasting a good 8 hours on my skin with a respectable sillage.
For the price, it has blind buy potential!

When I developed an interest in perfumes about two years ago, I faced the difficult question of which would be my first fragrance. I sought advice and asked for a pleasant fresh scent. I was recommended the BdC. It did nothing wrong, so I bought it.
Shortly thereafter, I had to regretfully realize that it seems like every second person wears it...
For this reason, it now serves its purpose as a daily scent at work. There, it functions with its subtle, fresh, and slightly spicy sillage as a serious and reliable choice. Regardless of the job, I would prefer to wear it in warmer weather due to its light citrus notes, which are never intrusive.
I find the longevity to be good; I can still perceive the scent after 5-6 hours.

I smelled Sorrento for the first time in spring while looking for another refreshing fragrance. The trip to Italy was already booked at that time.
As soon as I took the first whiff, it happened: I could already see myself in summer, having arrived in southern Italy.

The opening is dominated by grapefruit, which starts off less sweet but rather bitter and slightly sour. Exactly what I want at 30 degrees and above. Nothing overly burdensome, but pleasantly light and refreshing.
After the top notes settle, the fragrance becomes a bit softer with tea and flowers before it becomes barely perceptible after far too short a time.
This is also the major downside of Pomelo. The longevity is only 2-3 hours. On the other hand, I find that you can't overspray the scent. The more, the better; even 10-12 sprays (from the good atomizer) are easily doable.

So, anyone looking for a simple grapefruit scent will be well served here!

I received this fragrance as a gift a while ago. I actually wanted to move away from designer scents, but I am really glad to have it in my small collection now.

The scent itself is, in my opinion, very unobtrusive. That's exactly what I love about it.
No matter what situation I wear it in, it is never out of place. At work, while shopping, or during relaxed walks. You are always perceived positively and pleasantly.
The slight sweetness combined with some floral notes and what I perceive as a "fresh laundry" scent remains relatively unchanged on the skin for about 4-6 hours. Accordingly, you shouldn't expect much development.

All in all, it's an uncomplicated fragrance that works almost all the time. Compliments included.
