Oh so freaking good…
Had the chance to try this and its newborn brother Trouble in paradise… both are so amazingly great tropical scents.

The key here is the amazingly real pulpy, fruity, juicy, guava and the hint of very realistic coconut… apart from all the supporting notes, oud makes this shine and spark. I don’t enjoy telling a fragrances is the best of this or that, but in this case, I’m gonna make an exception because this is quite easily the very best tropical fruit fragrance, not god of fire, gisada ambassador or xerjoff cruz del sur, neither all of kajal fragrances, no, this is the god of fruity tropical stuff. This and trouble
In paradise are the greatest tropical fragrances by far, natural, long lasting, rich, complex, not overly sweet like Erba puras or sorts, this is it, both of this fragrances will stay on my fragrance shelve for ever.

If you have a chance to try them or buy them, do, this are worth every penny, much more considering they are quite cheap.

Fresh Opus Master
This is what a fresh fragrance should aspire to be. This is from the very well known Aventus, Tygar, Hacivat, Elysium DNA. That said, it comes much better than any of those…

This has maybe the very best opening, slightly better than Aventus and Elysium in my opinion, of any fragrance in this DNA. It’s very citrusy juicy, rounded, there is no metallic/scratchy feel, it smells very natural, fruity, deliciously fresh.

As it dries down, it starts to get a little greener because of the pineapple and apple, a little bit tarty but still fruity and very fresh, aquatic notes come forward for a few hours. Truly refreshing.

After a while the ginger in the base comes forward to that juicy freshness it had previously, and after a while more it starts turning to the base notes, which are pretty fancy, pachouli, oak moss and ambergris come forward, it gets very deep, a little dark, even a hint of animalic darkness here, it’s amazing. It is really a worth buy, specially at the excellent price point. This is a worth buy and I’ll put effort in buying the most I can before it is gone. Good luck finding this masterpiece.

The real deal
I will start this review with a quick summary of my own fragrance journey: For starters I’ll get this clear I’m not a will never be a fragrance expert as much as I am a fragrance lover.

Tobacco is my favorite note, even when I was a little child and did not know anything about fragrance, entering a tobacco store here in Mexico City, smelling that woody, rich tobacco smell, that dryness and smokiness, then, when traveling to the eastern coast of mexico where high quality tobacco and cigars are produced, gave me the greener and much more humid tobacco smell, the fresh tobacco plant smell. This is a note that’s tied to my childhood and great experiences with my father and will always be my favorite. A real gentleman’s note.

Well then, I started my fragrance journey a little more than a year ago and it became a real sick addiction to smell, to experimentation, spending much more time smelling fragrance and trying new and classic scents of all kinds, training my nose.

I have been reading both fragrantica and Parfumo since then, created accounts and read, read, and read… but this, this fragrance is one that deserves not only my attention, but my time to be recognized and praised. This is the real deal. A fragrance above all other fragrances.

The real tobacco, not Spicebomb Extreme, not Tobbaco Vanille, not Royal Tobacco, not Boundless, no Naxos, no Blue Vanille, no, no, no. TABAC (Tobacco Oud and Vanille), is the very best tobacco fragrance I’ve ever experienced. The tobacco here is the star. A real cigar box, this smells Tobacco, Oud (as dry wood, smoke, leathery), and Vanille to round everything up. Then the Turkish rose, jammy, serves as a great Oud-Rose base to keep up with the amazingly real tobacco scent that comes across all the time from the opening to the very last bit of smell. It gets a little sweeter and warmer (from the ethical ambergris I suppose) as it dries down but never letting the cigar box/store smell. This is a very playful bad boy fragrance that will make any man stand on top of any other fragrance user in any room or situation, it is powerful, eternal on clothes and very long lasting on my skin.

This is a masterpiece scent, no other way around it, I can only praise Aaron Terence Hughes for this amazing work, I will be buying more and more Aaron Fragrances to appreciate the real artistic work and soul he poured in this fragrances.
