Bois de Gayac opens with a very soft, velvety lotion-like, subtly sweet ripe 'mandarin, supported by tiny, also ripe, fresh 'orange speckles and a very delicate aromatic 'nutmeg spice, giving the feeling of being completely wrapped in silk.
A little later, an incredibly dense, warm woody creamy 'sandalwood note becomes noticeable, accompanied by a very beautiful balsamic, gently floral, and extremely subtly sweet resinous note of 'cistus, which is completed in the background by an almost fragile, finely spiced, not leathery or even medicinal appearing 'saffron nuance, creating a warm, protective cloud that can only be evoked by opium, allowing one to experience exactly that with this fragrance, without its entire side effects.
The base of
Bois de Gayac is heavenly sweetly spicy balsamic thanks to the 'myrrh, interwoven with delicate 'frankincense threads and a subtle dark 'woody note that I couldn't name, making me occasionally think of warm beeswax.
In conclusion, I would like to slightly rephrase the famous song by Falco:
"I have no money, you have no money, who has set this wonderful scent again?"
The perception of 'pink pepper and 'black pepper was unfortunately denied by my paleocortex, and the dark 'woody notes may, according to the fragrance pyramid, come from guaiac wood and oud, and I would like to dedicate the following title to the fragrance:

Overall, the scent lasts 9.5 hours on my skin.
The sillage is designed from the beginning and indeed until the end of the fragrance to be one meter, becoming merely more transparent from the 4th hour onward.
"Serafina, thank you for this wonderful fragrance experience!"
