It's pretty quiet around this perfume here in the forum and also on other platforms... why? It's surely not the fragrance. Armani and Dior are probably the kings of taking out of the assortment and reformulating. Absolutely incomprehensible, considering that it can't be the sales figures.

Considering the horror prices at which the code blanks are sold, one would possibly expect that they differ enormously in smell from the original code (which is comparatively cheap to buy) in a positive sense.

What I can say about the Elixir: it smells like the EdP in a single test. In direct comparison it smells a little less citrusy in the opening and more like honey in the overall test. H&S do not take much. In the beginning it projects strongly but after 1-2 hours there is unfortunately a skinscent. I had hoped that the Elixir would make up for the missing performance of the original and thus be worth the money and the hunt for it. Unfortunately this is not true, even if I find the scent grandiose and will forever be a code lover and collector!

Maybe the absolute variant of the non-governmental codes is the strongest one, but I don't have it and would have to test it again.

Flacon is beautifully vintage, but single-handed spraying is difficult
What's your favorite code? I think for me it remains the original, even if with re-spray :-)

I finally have my new love in my collection. If I could, I'd marry this fragrance. The only negative is that there's no bottle bigger than 75 ml.

Citrusy start, but not clean but juicy (Bergamot fans watch out!!). This is immediately followed by the interplay of O-flower, tonka and even the currant I can smell something. Everything underlaid with OLIVE WOOD, which is exactly how I perceive it. I have never consciously perceived olive wood in any other fragrance before, but here I can clearly recognize the note.

This combination smells so wonderful, I just want to get into it. It smells expensive, especially, of quality, of Italian summer evening, the sun warms my skin, my feet dangle in the cool water, where a wooden boat swings in the waves and I enjoy a refreshing St. Pellegrino lemonade.

Please do not overlook this great fragrance. Once again I sprayed some fragrances at random in the perfumery (I have found some heartbreakers that way) and just fell in love with it.

Lasts forever on clothes, projection is good for the first few hours, then a bit closer to the skin, but still very perceptible. A big WOW of me and will surely never leave my collection voluntarily.

a comment on this beauty is long overdue and so here is my second comment today:

frighteningly often I fall in love with fragrances from random samples that are enclosed with beauty orders and so here too. I tested the perfume in autumn and I have to say that the first time I sprayed it, it blew me away for a moment. This fragrance is really VERY VOLLOWY

Supposedly a flanker for Elie Saab Le Parfum. Are they related? More like a patchwork family. Not the same nose at work either. (btw: Le Parfum Essentiel is in my opinion no dupe to this. They smell completely different. Le Parfum Essentiel, however, smells very similar to Lady Million)

So now I wear this fragrance for the first time in the cool November and it welcomes me again and again, all day long. I also had it on my clothes, but I hadn't applied much compared to other perfumes, because I wanted to test it first. The next day I smelled my sweater and I was overwhelmed. It smelled so strong and so delicious and special! WOW! Extreme performance. A few weeks later a bottle was allowed to move in with me.

About the fragrance itself: definitely for rose lovers. Neroli and rose play beautifully together here to create a romantic, rather dark floral scent, which is given enormous depth and durability by the base. I think of velvet, scarlet, noble, seductive, unique. It has a high recognition value and I like it best in autumn or as an evening/outdoor fragrance. I see it especially on self-confident women between 20 and 40, who use it to show off their charisma.

A great layering combo for those who like it even more oriental: Shaghaf Oud by Swiss Arabian (alleged dupe to oud bouquet).
There is 100% niche quality here and you should not miss this great "flanker".

I'm a big Bal d'Afrique fan (it really sparked my love of perfume) but I couldn't pay the price for a long time (meanwhile proud owner), so I asked for a sample at the Byredo counter from time to time.
One day I ran innocently into the KaDeWe to refill my specimen depot and was disappointed. The dear lady at the counter, put me off with a specimen from Mojave Ghost instead
What can I say? Sometimes there's no right word but "shock-loved. I understand the following: unsuspectingly you put your nose on a spray head or spray a perfume somewhere and your brain stops working for a short time. what the fluff is this?!
Yes, you will spend the rest of the day hanging on your arm/scent strip like an addict, trying to absorb the scent into your bloodstream.

Anyways, back to Mojave Ghost. Yes, it's similar to Chance Eau Tendre (which I also like very much, EdP) I have MG on the left and Chance on the right. In the opening Chance smells more citric, similar to the Light Blue Intense Opening but a bit sweeter. MG, on the other hand, has a fruity, fresh, unripe pear or apple. Chance smells like a Parisian upper-class model freshly showered in spring and Mojave Ghost is the unisex counterpart with that interesting something.
Now what is this something. Is it the sapote (has anyone ever eaten/smelled it?) ? Is it the violet? Is it the combination of woody creaminess and floral fruitiness?
All I know is that it smells really fantastic.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with the majority here, as the durability is not the best. Quickly turns into a skin-scent.
Still, I prefer Mojave Ghost over Chance. I have never smelled this fresh, woody, fruity composition anywhere else. Here we'll have to spray the clothes and if you're spending money, maybe order the perfume oil as well (can it be Black Friday soon enough?). In this case it would be worth it.
Flacon is of course a matter of taste, but I like the uniform and minimalist design. Magnetic cap is a luxurious bonus.

I love Byredo perfumes and I don't understand why the shelf life is so short at these prices. It's a pity, but I'll always sniff and buy again because of the special scents.

Since this scent of Master Francis comes off so badly here, a whole commentary is needed right away.

I had originally received a scent test for an order and had fallen in shock. Everyone I put the perfume under my nose was thrilled by it. So I had to get a big bottle after my sample ran out

It's hard to describe this smell. The jasmine and peony combine wonderfully to create a fresh and somehow fruity and floral note. It reminds one of a crisp and not quite ripe apricot. Ambroxan gives depth and keeps the balance. It doesn't resemble anything I've smelled before, but it doesn't stand out from the crowd with a high recognition value either. The perfect all-occasion scent.

I can't count on my two hands how often I have been asked about this fragrance. It doesn't last very long on the skin, but it seems to adhere really well to clothing and has a good projection.

I find the bottle quite nice, but I also like abstract and unusual designs. A mystical eye can be seen from the front as well as from above (without the cap).

My bottle is soon empty and I will definitely reorder it.
In my opinion, the fragrance is best worn in autumn and late summer. Target group rather female without age restriction.
Give this beautiful designer scent vllt. nevertheless again a chance with your next perfumery visit and tell me what you think of it (test best on clothes).

At least not everyone smells like that :-)
