Private Oud is, to my nose, a distinct clone of Tom Ford's Oud Wood.
Oud Wood is but the royal class, there comes Private Oud not with. It lacks depth, durability and certainly class. With the price difference between original and "replica" but probably no 1:1 copy is to be expected. Who wants to try the direction for themselves can not do so much wrong in the price range (around the 40, - Euro for 100ml).
Who wants closer to the original and is looking for a kinky durability, is certainly better off with Bois Oudh by DUA. Must invest but also 50, - dollars for 30 ml.
The flacon is with both clones with "getting used to" rather well meant. But fragrances should be stored cool and dark;-)

I bought this scent along with the Liquid Mind Control. This one was even more catchy by combining it with the By the Fireplace scent. Where on earth did they get the idea to put these two together? Really, really good. The shelf life is really even for DUA ratios abartig long and occasionally still perceptible after showering.

I could for me no longer explainable reasons at the first sniff not start much with him. Probably he had throbbed me so on the nose that I was dazed ;-)
Meanwhile, we are inseparable. Whiskey, bergamot, rose and something berry sweet in interaction with the ginger ( probably this had irritated me) really outstanding!
Very very great for a "replica" . Stands for me the original in nothing after is but not so expensive. A real alternative, wow!

Aventus Clone, which comes for my feeling a little fruity and less smoky than the original. Starts for me a bit synthetic, but becomes much better in the course of the fragrance. Quite successful Aventus Dupe, which unfortunately has weaknesses in the durability and compared to the original also not its sillage.
For the price but a very good performance!
