This is Xerjoff best kept secret in my opinion, I took a chance to blind purchase this because there wasn't many reviews on it and BOY I'm glad that I did . When you know the notes that appeal to you then it is worth taking a chance on, AND THE PERFORMANCE IS OUT OF THIS WORLD. The opening is a nice pine on my skin and then that juicy fruit buggle gum sweetness come to play , making it a very lovely complex fragrance that performs very well. I will be doing my Xerjoff top 15 fragrances and this will definitely make the top 5. Check my review.

This was a first impression and Highness X , The opening was a real joy and that last maybe 2 minutes max and then this really become a mess , rarely do a do a review on a fragrance that is bad but this is not it . The first three hours is mostly smoke and sweet notes that does not mix well. After about three hours once the tonka calms down and the vanilla push forward then only then it becomes a nice fragrance. If the dry down was more prominent in the fragrance it would be a winner but in this case it takes too long. But one thing that I will say that if you like fragrances like by the fireplace you might enjoy this , but I don't.

Monkey special is a crazy name for a fragrance, I had to look up the reason before I decided to purchase and once I did it made sense. But let's talk about the fragrance, it's similar fragrance out that and one that I own but I just can't put my hands on it just yet. And that is the only thing that I was disappointed about, but judging the fragrance by its own merit It's a gorgeous fragrance that is dark chocolate woody and has some spicy undertone's. The performance as far as the longevity is great, I was still smelling hints after a shower but the projection at least on my skin was moderate.

Please hear me close, it's very rare that I rate a fragrance a ten.. But let me tell you, this is the most rich, smooth elegant fragrance that I own In my collection. The cardamom in this fragrance is top notch and I will challenge you to find one in a fragrance of this quality. Then comes other spices in the fragrance mixed with smooth almonds, vanilla and amber, that adds more spice and it finish with a nice gourmand touch and the perfect amount of sweetness to finish it off. A real stunner from the house.

This was my first dive into a Xerjoff fragrance and the presentation Including the box and glass is something to die for, opening the box and you see quality and the fragrance is even better . The lavender note in this I have never smelled that note so smooth. Although I'm not a fan of jasmine the note in this fragrance pay well, combined with some resinous notes from the amber and I don't know do this house use real oud, but it smell very realistic. This is one of my better oud based fragrance and the performance is out of this world.
