Masterpiece in a Bottle and Reflection of Myself
I was browsing through YouTube in search of new perfume videos, for example by Leni Scients, and that’s when I saw you for the first time. Opinions about you were very divided; either you were the great love or you were portrayed as the worst scent ever. My interest was increasingly piqued, but a blind buy?
You are said to be so complex and multifaceted, and then there’s the price!
I opened Parfumo and read with excitement reviews and statements like "smells like a woman's intimate area." Aha.
All the way to descriptions like moldy, rancid, fermented.
But also positive remarks like unique, creamy, fruity, floral.
My curiosity about you grew and grew....
I ordered a 10ml sample on Parfumo, and when the scent arrived, I sprayed it directly on my skin with anticipation.
I found you nice, yes, quite nice.
I kept reading how well you are supposed to last, for days, months, on clothing until the next wash; you are supposed to shine endlessly, but I couldn’t confirm that.
The scent was weak, just gone after an hour, a fake?
I took the plunge and ordered the bottle.
The packaging, design, bottle with that wonderful magnetic closure, and the cap adorned with a zirconia, simply a dream in pink.
And the scent.....from the day the bottle moved in with me, I was addicted; I can’t put you into words.
So unique...you feel calming to me, as if I am finding myself again in "Guidance | Amouage." Maybe it’s a positive memory or something similar that makes me love you so much...my scent for life.
There is no second one like you.
You shine and last forever; you bring me the most compliments, and even when I’m not wearing you, you are always with me.
A sweater in my closet that smells like you when I open the door.
My cosmetic band in the bathroom or my jacket in the hallway when I walk past it, you are everywhere.
I am very curious about your sister Guidance 46 Extrait, which I will of course also buy.
I thought I would never find a signature scent again, and then you came!
Thank you, Quentin Bisch, for this masterpiece!

Love at First Sniff
When my sample arrived and I sprayed it directly on my skin, I fell in love immediately.
To me, it smells very unique.
I don't perceive the rubber note or garage scent.
I also get very little saffron and floral notes.
Rather a lot of vanilla, tonka bean, and spices.
As it develops, it somehow reminds me of Velvet Tonka by BDK.
This boozy, warm tonka bean.
For me, it's a scent that will always have a place in my collection and is more of a fragrance for special occasions.
A perfect unisex scent that is right in the middle of both genders.
Anyone who wants to smell unique and special should try Rosendo Mateu No. 5.

Strong coffee meets vanilla ice cream
I was really looking forward to this fragrance and was very excited to finally test it.
Right after spraying, you are greeted by a very strong coffee scent; I can only smell this coffee, and after a while, vanilla joins in, but it remains subtle while the coffee stays in the spotlight.
It's actually a very nice fragrance; it smells great on my husband.
Personally, I wish the coffee note would take a back seat, and the scent could be more vanilla, cheeky, and sweet; unfortunately, for me, it is not sweet at all.
Longevity is very good.

The special something....
A particularly masculine-tinged scent for me.
At first sniff, I thought I know you, and in direct comparison with Versace Crystal Noir, it was clear to me that the two are very similar.
In the opening, the Crystal is softer and the Gris a bit sharper, yet both have that creaminess that lingers.
Luxurious, unique, special.
