I get a massive dose of ISO E super and ambroxan. An intriguing smell of paper, but not much tobacco. Practically no top notes.

Once the memorable top notes start fading (about 1 hour in), to me this leans towards a rougher Leather Oud.

Has this been reformulated? This is nice but what I get from my new sample seems quite far from a "huge amber" as from Turin's 2008 review!

Interestingly, this has some vibes from L'AP Aedes de Venustas (just one year older). And I bet it has inspired TF Plum Japonais.

I usually can't stand sweet-vanillic fragrances but this is so intoxicating! Simply the best amber I've had to tried so far.

Like many Meo Fusciuni perfumes, this is thick, bold, and uncompromising. It may lack subtlety, but it is fascinating. A true experience!

I think this owes a lot to B. Duchaufour (e.g. Timbuktu, Jubilation XXV). Unfortunately, it isn't as inspired. Smells nice but forgettable.
