The “Vegan” Part is Key

I think one needs to have some understanding of what it is to follow a vegan diet in order to have a clear grasp of this perfume as a leather fragrance. I was vegan for a short period, and the vegan meats sold were always off in texture and flavor from real meats. Vegan Leather Jacket follows a similar path as it smells off when compared to a traditional leather fragrance, and that is part of what makes it so genius. P.S. You must be a fan of cloves to appreciate this one!

No Leather. Just a Lot of Smoke About Nothing.

The scent smells exactly like an incense stick. Smoky, resinous. I can't detect any leather association. No one can convince me otherwise. You really have to force yourself to wish that into the name.

I actually like the smell, but I don't wear it because I can't think of an occasion where I want to smell like incense sticks. You need a fair amount of self-confidence to wear this fragrance. My wife has forbidden me to wear it.

However, it doesn't last forever, so you can definitely take the plunge.

I don't get the hate here! Maybe the name is misleading, but it's a brilliant smoke and carnation fragrance! Luca Turin gave 5 stars to it.

Very smoky leather. Takes a while to get past the opening which is just smoke. Was hoping for more clove. Might layer it with bay rum.
