Melipone

This is 70% Opium and 30% Cabochard. And I don't know what to think about it!

This shares a lot of similarities with Eau Parfumée au Thé Noir also from Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud, another gem.

I get a massive dose of ISO E super and ambroxan. An intriguing smell of paper, but not much tobacco. Practically no top notes.

Once the memorable top notes start fading (about 1 hour in), to me this leans towards a rougher Leather Oud.

Has this been reformulated? This is nice but what I get from my new sample seems quite far from a "huge amber" as from Turin's 2008 review!
