Unfortunately, a blind buy that tempted me because of the reviews.. I find no gum at all and only sweetness hits you. I imagined it would be minty-sweet with that typical bubblegum flavor. I smell none of that and was very disappointed.
It is not a headache-inducing scent, the Montales never are, but for me it is one of the low performers in terms of fragrance direction. Longevity and sillage are (unfortunately for me) great. It could use a bit more lightness and zest.

Montale fragrances are simply my thing.
Here I had a sample and little expectations. I know Sweet Vanilla and I don't like it at all, as it smells like a very sweet vanilla pod.
However, here I think of cake batter with vanilla extract and splashes of lemon and caramel. Or cupcakes with a light lemon buttercream.
Due to this sprightliness, it feels like a slightly lighter vanilla that doesn't impose too much, even though it is present.
It feels like coming home after an autumn walk on a gray November day, where you are greeted by vanilla cupcakes and invited to sit down and warm up with a cup of tea.

For the price, it’s okay, but unfortunately it gives me headaches.
I love Vanilla 28 and find it similar to this one. Just in a sticky way and with the "that's enough now" feeling because I can’t stand it after a while.

I would recommend tracking it down and wearing it for 2 hours before purchasing.

I love vanilla, but it can quickly come off as cheap or too much, too sticky, and the infamous headache-inducing scent.
This fragrance feels like it takes my hand and takes me on a journey to the past, when Grandma or Mom baked cakes and waffles. It is sweet but not overwhelming, just the cozy warmth needed in the darker seasons. I love it.

This is actually the first Montale bottle that has come into my collection. The scent does something to me; it's hard to describe. Definitely feminine, sweet, strawberry-like, also a bit almondy but somehow synthetic as well. It caught my attention right away because it is so unusual. It's best to test it out with a sample, as it won't appeal to everyone. For me, it's a spring/summer fragrance.
