Unfortunately a blind buy that had tempted me because of the reviews... find zero bubblegum in it and it just pops sweetness at you. I imagined it would be minty-sweet with that typical bubblegum flavor. Smell none of it and was very disappointed.
It's not a headache scent, the Montales never are, but it's one of the low performers for me in terms of scent direction. Longevity and sillage are mega (for me, unfortunately). Could do with a bit more lightness and effervescence.

Montale fragrances are simply mine.
Here I had a sample and hardly any expectations. I know Sweet Vanilla and I don't like it at all because it smells like a very sweet vanilla pod.
But here I'm thinking of cake batter with vanilla extract and splashes of lemon and caramel. Or cupcakes with a light lemony buttercream.
For me, this effervescence makes it a somewhat lighter vanilla that is not too overpowering, although it is present.
It feels like coming home after an autumn walk on a gray November day and waiting for a vanilla cupcake and asking to sit down and warm up with a cup of tea.

It's ok for the price, but unfortunately it gives me a headache.
I love Vanilla 28 and find it similar. It's just stickier and has that "now it's good" feeling because I can't stand it any more.

Would advise tracking it down and wearing it for 2 hours before buying it.

I love vanilla, but it can quickly come across as cheap or too much, too sticky and the famous headache scent.
This scent feels like it's taking me by the hand and taking me on a trip down memory lane to when grandma or mom baked cakes and waffles. It's sweet but not overwhelming, just the cozy warmth needed in the darker seasons. I love it.

This is actually the first Montale bottle I've ever bought. The fragrance does something to me, it's hard to describe. Definitely feminine, sweet, strawberry, also almondy but somehow also synthetic. I was immediately hooked because it's so unusual. It's best to try it out, not everyone will like it. For me, it's a spring/summer fragrance.
