Christian Louboutin expands its "Eaux de Parfum légères" collection with the new, floral unisex fragrance "Loubihorse".

Created by perfumer Christophe Raynaud, the new fragrance combines refreshing, citrusy notes of bergamot with the floral essence of neroli and the creamy sweetness of vanilla.

Part of Christian Louboutin's "Eaux de Parfum légères" collection,"Loubihorse" is inspired by the designer s underwater dreams. Last year, the brand unveiled the collection's first perfume, "Loubimar".

While still at school, Christian Louboutin discovered his passion for heeled shoes and began designing his own models. After his attempt to sell them at the Paris Ballet failed, Louboutin learned the fashion and design craft from Maud Frizon, Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent. Finally, in the early 1990s, he opened his first boutique in Paris.

However, the designer's breakthrough came from another idea: red shoe soles. When he was working on his new Pop Art-inspired shoe designs, he was bored with the black sole. At that moment, his assistant was painting her fingernails, which gave Louboutin an idea. He grabbed her bright red nail polish and painted over the black sole with it. Since then, the red shoe soles have acted as the trademark of Christian Louboutin.

The label's first fragrance, "Bikini Questa Sera", was launched in 2016.

The new fragrance is available in a bottle size of 90 ml.
