A Journey to Inner Peace: The New "Mauna" Extrait de Parfum by Mendittorosa

Mendittorosa introduces "Mauna", a new oriental-woody unisex fragrance that draws its inspiration from the healing power of inner stillness.

In Sanskrit, mauna means silence.
The silence we refer to with the Sanskrit word "Mauna" is not silence as the absence of sound, but the power, free of time and space, unadulterated and a sacred vibration, behind everything, before everything.

The fragrance journey begins with an invigorating top note of Madagascan ginger, black pepper and incense. A warm heart follows, characterized by the balsamic sweetness of benzoin, the woody creaminess of Indian sandalwood and the deep, sweet note of tonka bean absolute. Finally, the fragrance flows into a base of musk and velvet, rounded off by the sweet, sensual presence of styrax, which lends warmth and depth to the bouquet.

"Mauna" was created by perfumer Cristiano Canali and is a tribute to one of the oldest traditions - the Ayurvedic art of healing. Ayurveda, whose name is made up of the Sanskrit words "ayus" (life) and "veda" (knowledge), aims to promote health and well-being by balancing body, mind and soul, using natural materials and practices such as the use of plants and herbs. The concept and design of the fragrance were created by Stefania Squeglia, the founder of Mendittorosa.

The Italian fragrance label Mendittorosa was born out of Stefania Squeglia's deep passion. Even as a child, she collected flowers and herbs, experimented with essences and mixed them in her grandmother's jars. In 2011, Squeglia decided to give her life a new twist and founded the Mendittorosa brand. What makes the label special is above all the attention to detail and the originality with which the products are designed. Each perfume is considered a unique work of art and is produced in collaboration with artists and craftsmen in Italy.

The new fragrance is available in a bottle size of 100 ml.
