The New Eau de Parfum Vanille Rebelle de Bahia by la Maison de la Vanille: An Ode to Freedom

The New Eau de Parfum "Vanille Rebelle de Bahia" by la Maison de la Vanille: An Ode to Freedom

The new unisex fragrance "Vanille rebelle de Bahia" by La Maison de la Vanille combines fresh vanilla with a spicy-sweet heart and sunny musk.

Let the rhythms of samba lull you to sleep until the end of the night without taboos or boundaries. It is said to be a rebellious dance that leaves behind a typical vanilla scent peculiar to the vast and generous Amazon region.

The fragrance journey begins with a creamy-sweet blend of vanilla and almond, enveloped by a refreshing watery note. At the heart, sensual tonka bean dances with delicate rose petals, refined with a pinch of cinnamon. The journey ends with a warm solar note that merges with gentle musk.

"Vanille rebelle de Bahia" is part of the "Les Vanilles des Origines" collection, which also includes "Vanille Noire du Mexique" from 2005 and "Vanille Flamboyante de Bourbon" from 2021, for example.

La Maison de la Vanille describes the new fragrance as an homage to freedom, inspired by the transformation of the ritualized capoeira dance in Bahia into a rebellious gesture.

Brazilian music of the 20th century has its roots in Bahia, a melting pot of Afro-Brazilian culture. There, the musical traditions of the Portuguese colonial rulers, the baroque music of the Jesuits and the traditional sounds of the African slaves of the 17th century blended together. This unique fusion gave rise to the world-famous samba rhythms and the martial dance capoeira, developed by African slaves during the Brazilian colonial period. Capoeira used rhythmic music and dance movements to disguise fighting and self-defense techniques in order to hide their skills from their colonial masters.

After master perfumer Aldo Bielli had demonstrated his passion and talent for fragrances with various brands and customers, he founded his own label in 1996 - La Maison de la Vanille was born.

Based in Grasse, the perfume capital of the world, the French fragrance house offers compositions that combine floral, fruity and woody elements with the seductive and multifaceted aroma of vanilla.

The new fragrance is available in a bottle size of 100 ml.
