A Tribute to Egypt: The New Eau de Parfum "Nomade Nuit d'Egypte" by Chloé
With the new women's fragrance "Nomade Nuit d'Egypte" the French fashion label Chloé celebrates the country of origin of its founders and the ancient Egyptian art of perfumery.
This fragrance is a tribute to Gaby Aghion, the founder of Chloé, who brings with her the cultural heritage of Alexandria in Egypt, the cradle of the first perfumes in the history of mankind. Chloe Nomade Nuit d'Egypte celebrates the tradition of the ancient "Kyphi", the first Egyptian perfumes, and transports it into the present with a modern reinterpretation.
Chloé

To capture the ancient art of 'Kyphi' in a contemporary way, the composition combines warm, sweet accents of myrrh with spicy nuances of cinnamon and ginger. The honeyed notes of broom blossom nectar lend the fragrance a sensual nuance, accompanied by balsamic, ambery undertones of cypriol and opoponax. At the heart, the sweet Kyphi accord and the delicate floral orange blossom absolute merge, rounded off by a warm hint of creamy vanilla.
Gaby Aghion - Founder of Chloé
Gaby Aghion was born Gabriella Hanoka in Alexandria, Egypt, in 1921. At the age of 24, she moved to Paris with her husband, where she founded the fashion house Chloé in 1952. Her aim was to create a brand that embodied casual elegance. To achieve this, she designed prêt-à-porter fashion that defied the conventions of her time. However, her influence extended far beyond the founding of the French fashion house: she hired designers such as Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney and Gabriela Hearst, who became icons of the fashion world. Although Gaby retired from the brand in 1985 and passed away in 2014, she left a lasting legacy in the fashion world.
The new fragrance is available in 30, 50 and 75 ml bottle sizes
