A Tribute to OdéOn: “Odéon Rosebud” by Memo Paris

A Tribute to OdéOn: “Odéon Rosebud” by Memo Paris

The French niche perfume house Memo Paris presents its new unisex fragrance, “Odéon Rosebud”, which offers an olfactory interpretation of the atmosphere of Paris’s Odéon district.

The Odéon district in Paris is known for its bookstores, historic cafés, and jazz clubs surrounding the Théâtre de l’Odéon. With the new unisex fragrance “Odéon Rosebud”, Memo Paris aims to capture this atmosphere in a fruity-spicy form—significantly lighter than the original fragrance “Odéon” from 2020.

While the “Odéon” Eau de Parfum highlights a darker, oriental-floral rose note with accents of tonka bean and amber, the new creation in the “Fleurs Bohèmes” collection features a lighter blend of rose and peony, accompanied by apricot kernel and pink pepper.

The Fragrance: Fruity freshness meets a floral heart

The fragrance opens with a fresh, invigorating blend of bergamot and apricot kernel, accompanied by spicy pink pepper. As the scent unfolds, a floral trio of freesia, peony, and rose absolute emerges. The fragrance concludes with warm, earthy notes: Madagascan patchouli and cashmeran lend depth to the scent, while white musk softly rounds out the composition.

The fragrance was developed by perfumer Aliénor Massenet. Born in France with Hungarian roots, she has been working in the fragrance industry since the 1990s. After training at Cinquième Sens and Firmenich, she worked at IFF in New York and Paris, among other places. Her portfolio includes creations for brands such as Chloé, Liz Earle, and Memo Paris. Today, she serves as Senior Vice President Perfumer at Symrise.

The fragrance will be available in 30-ml and 75-ml bottles.

A wonderful, atmospheric image that really showcases the fragrance. It fits perfectly with the brand and its elegant illustrations.
