A Tribute to the Williams Pear: English Pear & Sweet Pea by Jo Malone

A Tribute to the Williams Pear: "English Pear & Sweet Pea" by Jo Malone

Inspired by the scent of the English pear, British fragrance and lifestyle label Jo Malone presents the fruity, lightly floral perfume "English Pear & Sweet Pea".

In "English Pear & Sweet Pea" the sweet Williams pear merges with delicate fragrance development flowers. The base note of white musk gives the creation a warm, sensual depth.

The new unisex fragrance joins the "English Pear" collection, which was launched in 2010 with the fruity-floral scent "English Pear & Freesia". "English Pear & Sweet Pea" is now to take the delicate and juicy note in a new direction.

The Williams pear has its roots in the 18th century in England. It got its name from a nurseryman named Williams, who worked in Berkshire. Its flesh is tender and melting, accompanied by an aroma reminiscent of vanilla and lemon.

Jo Malone

In 1983, Joanne Lesley Malone, better known as Jo Malone, started her own business in her London apartment, creating her own fragrance blends and selling them at local markets. She began with scented candles, bath oils and room fragrance products, based on her olfactory preferences and love of essential oils. In 1990, she launched her first perfume "Nutmeg & Ginger", inspired by one of her popular bath oils. Her innovative approach, based on high-quality ingredients and the concept of "layering," became a hallmark of Jo Malone. In 1999, Estée Lauder Companies acquired the brand, but Jo Malone remains active as a creative force and namesake.

The fragrance is available from August 15 in a bottle size of 100 ml.
