“Adhara”: A Fragrance Journey to the Most Dazzling Star of the Universe

With the new sweet-floral Extrait de Parfum "Adhara" pays Tiziana Terenzi tribute to the eponymous star.

The fragrance opens with a juicy-sweet top note of Sicilian bitter orange, Virginia tobacco and Turkish caramel. In the heart, Thai orchid, lily of the valley, Mexican tuberose and Italian magnolia exude floral nuances, while the base of Indian red patchouli, ambergris, oud and Madagascar vanilla adds a warm and sensual note.

The perfume was created by Paolo Terenzi. The inspiration for the fragrance comes from Adhara, a pair of blue and white giant stars that are among the brightest stars in the night sky. With a mass of about 20 solar masses, it shines about 5,000 times brighter than our sun. The name "Adhara" is derived from the Arabic word "Al-Adhara", which means "virgins".

"Adhara" is part of the "Luna Star" collection by Tiziana Terenzi. Last year, the Italian brand added the animalic-earthy scent "Chi" to the fragrance range.
