Inspired by the green landscapes of the Indonesian islands, "Vetiveria" combines aromatic, spicy freshness with woody, earthy depth.
The opening is carried by tangy Sicilian lime, infused with the fruity-fresh spiciness of Timur pepper - also known as Nepalese Szechuan pepper - and the herbaceous spiciness of sage and juniper berries. The heart of the composition opens with a floral interplay of white jasmine, orange blossom and lavender, accentuated by delicate nuances of snowdrops that add a sweet, green freshness. Vetiver and moss form the green-woody base, rounded off by the creamy warmth of tonka bean and the balsamic-resinous facets of cistus.
Behind the creation is Linda Jayne Pilkington, founder and creative soul of Ormonde Jayne.
I have always adored pepper as an ingredient and Timur pepper really is in a class of its own and everyone who smells it is overwhelmed by the fruity, airy and tangy note. I immediately fell in love with this aromatic oil and knew it had to be a key note in my next creation. I felt and knew instinctively that it would harmonize so well with vetiver, a very popular accord in the Ormonde Jayne library.

The perfume is part of the collection The Four Corners of the Earth - a tribute to the cultural and scenic diversity of our planet. In addition to "Vetiveria", the range includes the fragrance "Verano", which captures the passionate essence of Latin America, "Sakura", inspired by the Japanese Hanami tradition, and "Arabesque", which transports you to the Orient with its opulent depth and warmth.
The new fragrance is available in a bottle size of 88 ml and can be delivered to Germany.
