“Armani Privé - Santal Dān Shā” - New Woody Fresh Armani Unisex Fragrance

Giorgio Armani launches its fragrance "Armani Privé - Santal Dān Shā" inspired by the tranquility of Chinese imperial palaces and their tranquil gardens.

The new unisex perfume is named after the vermilion hue of sandalwood, also known as "dān shā" in China, reminiscent of the facades of imperial palaces. With the woody and fresh fragrance, Giorgio Armani wanted to capture a gentle summer breeze blowing through the palace gardens. "Armani Privé - Santal Dān Shā" combines balsamic sandalwood with the freshness of bergamot and the aromatic spices of cardamom. The fusion of these notes is said to give the fragrance a dreamy, majestic and calming effect.

The top note opens with a fresh note of Calabrian bergamot, which combines with warm, peppery cardamom from Guatemala and a violet leaf accord. The heart ignites with elemi, a resin extracted from tropical trees, musk and incense. Finally, a creamy sandalwood accord forms the base of the fragrance creation. The natural sandalwood scent is enhanced by notes of Virginia cedar and Dreamwood™.

With "Armani Privé - Santal Dān Shā", Giorgio Armani complements the "Les Eaux" collection, which has been around since 2020. The fragrance is presented in a square bottle topped with a glossy black lid. The ocher-colored content, which is revealed through the transparent glass bottle, embodies the color of sandalwood. Added to this is the name of the perfume, which adorns the shiny gold plate of the bottle in black lettering.

The fragrance was created by French perfumer Fabrice Pellegrin.

The perfume is available in a bottle size of 50 ml.
