Fabrice Pellegrin

Fabrice Pellegrin comes from a family that is deeply connected to the world of fragrances - so his path into perfumery seemed almost predestined. His father was a perfumer, his grandmother a jasmine picker and his grandfather supplied the perfumery with exquisite natural raw materials. Born and raised in Grasse, he feels a special connection to the town. The rolling hills, olive trees, cypresses and vast fields embody the feeling of home for him.

Fabrice is particularly known for his masterful work with woody and spicy notes and his passion for natural materials. This expertise flows not only into his perfume creations, but also into the development of natural products at Firmenich, where he has been commuting between Paris and the research laboratories in Grasse for over 15 years.

Passing on knowledge is of great importance to him. In schools and through his work, he promotes the exchange of ideas and emphasizes the importance of remaining open and learning from each other. He sees perfumery - like fashion - as an area that is constantly changing, breaking new ground and setting new trends. Modesty and perseverance are the foundations of his success. The back of his watch reads "Carpe Diem", a reminder to consciously live in the present moment. His message to others is: "Make the most of the time you have.".

in 2017, he was named "Perfumer of the Year" by Cosmetique Magazine and awarded the prestigious prize by the French trade magazine - a recognition of the exceptional talent and passion he puts into each of his projects.
