Cool Mint Freshness: "Y Iced Cologne" by Yves Saint Laurent

With "Y Iced Cologne," Yves Saint Laurent is expanding its Y men's line with a noticeably cooler, mint-accented interpretation of the aromatic signature.

A splash of liquid ice for a successful start to the day. A new Eau de Toilette Intense with ice mint and blue sage, underscored by a cooling Arctical™ molecule and enhanced by sensual patchouli for a fresh and long-lasting fragrance.

"Y Iced Cologne" unfolds with a refreshing accord of mint and peppermint, whose coolness is further enhanced by the Arctical™ molecule. At the heart, blue sage comes to the fore with its aromatic and spicy facets, combining the fresh accents with a more subtle, herbaceous depth. Ambroxan and patchouli finally provide a warm, long-lasting finish.

The fragrance was created by French master perfumer Dominique Ropion, who interpreted "Y Iced Cologne" as a cool variation on the well-known Y line. The classic Y signature remains, but appears brighter and clearer—with more pronounced mint and a freshness that comes more clearly to the fore.

According to Yves Saint Laurent, the new eau de toilette should remain noticeable for up to twelve hours.

The Y-design in glacier blue

The bottle follows the familiar design of the Y line: an angular glass bottle with the characteristic V-shaped indentation and the metallic "Y" engraved diagonally into the body of the bottle. To visually emphasize the ice and freshness character, the fragrance appears in a cool glacier blue.

In addition, the spray mechanism has been redesigned: the spray duration is now approximately three times longer than in previous Y compositions.

The new fragrance is available in 10, 60, and 100 ml sizes.
