From Fruity to Smoky: "Oud (Extrait de Parfum)" by Les Eaux Primordiales
The highly concentrated version of "Oud" presents Les Eaux Primordiales, a modern interpretation of the popular fragrance in which fruity-floral notes fade into a leathery base.
I wanted to convey a different vision of oud, to move away from its overly smoky and animalic facets and reveal something brighter and more contemporary. Together, we have succeeded in creating a fragrance that is both powerful and accessible, and that shows oud in a completely new light.
Arnaud Poulain, founder of Les Eaux Primordiales
The opening of bergamot, cardamom and mandarin provides a fresh, slightly spicy opening. Gradually, notes of osmanthus, passion fruit and peach reveal themselves, forming a fruity-floral center. Leather, oud and tobacco emerge in the base note, accompanied by a note of incense that lends the fragrance additional depth and warmth.
"Oud (Extrait de Parfum)" is a modern interpretation of oud: It is inspired by its cultural roots, but has been enhanced with fruity, European-influenced nuances. The composition was created in collaboration between Arnaud Poulain, the founder of Les Eaux Primordiales, and the French perfumer Julien Rasquinet.

The third chapter of the Supermassive Collection
With "Oud (Extrait de Parfum)" , the French perfume house Les Eaux Primordiales continues its Supermassive Collection and remains true to the line's concept: highly concentrated fragrances with a strong character.
The line already includes "Ambre (Extrait de Parfum)", characterized by warm, spicy, vanilla notes, and "Vanilla", an intense vanilla composition with a woody-balsamic finish.
The new Extrait de Parfum is available in a 100 ml flacon size.
