First undecided, now loved!
I came across this particular find while searching for an incomparable vanilla fragrance. When I ordered it, it was categorized as sweet and spicy - which can be challenging for me at times. However, I eagerly awaited its arrival and when it finally arrived I sprayed it on a test strip just to be on the safe side. An interesting spiciness rose up, not too sharp biting, leaving a rather gentle undercurrent of vanilla. I liked it but wondered what occasion I could wear it for and didn't have an answer at first - and didn't know if it was really for me.
But now the all-important test:
It's a very cold, foggy day and I want to go for a nice long walk in the woods with my family and the dog. And that's when I thought of this fragrance again - to test how it develops outside in the fresh, cold air. No one else would notice me here if I didn't like it. The scent is a dream when you're walking in the forest, moving in the crisp, cold air! My initial doubts have vanished - just like the initial spiciness. The fragrance retains a certain intensity of spiciness, but it flattens out and becomes more of a beautiful, mature vanilla scent, making it more rounded. An absolute transformation for me - my lucky find of the week
