Fruity-Green and Warmly Floral: "Âme de Fleur" by Liquides Imaginaires

The French label Liquides Imaginaires presents the unisex fragrance "Âme de Fleur", carried by green pear, jasmine sambac absolute, and ambrox super.

Âme de Fleur, born from the tears of Aphrodite, reinterprets the anemone, symbol of eternal love, longing, and transformation. A white floral fragrance with beguiling notes of tuberose and jasmine, underscored by a woody base note that reveals the silent language of flowers.

The opening notes of "Âme de Fleur" are bright and clear: green pear, mate absolute, rose, a crystalline accord, and heliotrope create a fresh, slightly sweet opening. As the fragrance develops, jasmine sambac absolute and tuberose come to the fore as a creamy floral duo, complemented by spicy saffron accents and a warm solar note. In the base, ambrox super, Clearwood™, and cashmere wood combine to form a soft, modern woody structure, whose depth is enhanced by the dry, woody amber molecule Z11.

The inspiration: Anemone and Aphrodite

For the composition, Liquides Imaginaires drew inspiration from the anemone, which is considered the sacred flower of Aphrodite in mythology. According to the legend of Adonis, anemones sprang up where Aphrodite's tears mingled with the blood of her dying lover. Since then, they have symbolized love, transience, and new beginnings.

A new chapter in the "Les Eaux de L'Âme" collection

"Âme de Fleur" is the latest addition to the "Les Eaux de L'Âme" range from the French niche label. The line was launched in 2019 with "Beauté du Diable"—a composition that aims to capture the dark, seductive aura of a fallen angel. An aromatic-fresh opening of absinthe, citrus notes, and spices meets spicy-floral facets, while vetiver, guaiac wood, and cistus create a resinous-woody, smoky depth in the base.

The second fragrance to follow in 2024 was "Âme du Cœur", inspired by the heart as a symbol of love, passion, and inner essence. The fragrance opens with fruity-spicy citrus and spice notes and develops into warm cocoa and wood notes. Vetiver, tonka bean, and wood accords provide a warm, soft finish.

The new fragrance is available in a 100 ml bottle.
