Musk and Pomegranate: "Musc Grenat" by Narciso Rodriguez

With "Musc Grenat," Narciso Rodriguez introduces a new unisex fragrance in which the house's iconic musk meets a pomegranate accord and leathery, woody facets.

Famous for its ruby-red, jewel-like seeds, pomegranate offers a subtle, distinctive aroma with a perfect balance between sweetness and a tart, almost sour freshness.

The opening is dominated by an invigorating, tangy pomegranate accord, accentuated by pink pepper and mandarin essence. As it develops, notes of saffron absolute and centifolia rose combine with warm musk. Leathery facets, patchouli, and woody notes lend the fragrance its dry depth, which is rounded off by bourbon vanilla from Madagascar and creamy tonka bean.

"Musc Grenat" continues Narciso Rodriguez's Les Luminances line, in which the house's signature musk is combined with a classic raw material used in perfumery.

Among the most popular creations are "Safran Musc," which combines spicy, leathery saffron with Damask rose and smoky incense, "Amber Musc," an opulent composition with resinous, vanilla sweetness that bathes musk in sensual amber opulence, and "Jasmine Musc," which combines the floral depth of jasmine sambac with creamy musk.

Each fragrance is intended to embody its own "luminance"—an olfactory glow—while the clear, gold-lacquered bottles with colored accents visually reflect the respective essence.
