More Jasmine than musk
This is the first scent I tried from the Oriental Musc Editions. I was a little surprised that this isn't very musky at all.
It neither has the typical musk of the For Her line, nor the one that is used in the Narciso line, nor any other kind of dominant musk. It could be from any designer and doesn't smell like a typical NR fragrance, and it's lighter than what I expected from the presentation. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, I don't think that heaviness would suit this scent profile.
Musc Jasmine is a sweet white floral, very on par with current trends. The titular jasmine is really noticeable and nicely done, it smells similar to a blooming jasmine shrub, but slightly cleaned-up. Tuberose and vanilla are also going strong in this one. Besides that, I also get a sweet fruity note that is a bit reminiscent of white gummy bears, but blended with the jasmine it doesn't come across too playful, at least not after the first blast has cooled off. Maybe it's just a fruity rendition of ylang-ylang. There is something about this that reminds me the tiniest bit of bdk Pas Ce Soir, even though the overall scent isn't very similar.
All in all it's a nice fragrance, as long as you don't expect a musk bomb like the mainline NR perfumes.
