Powdery Iris & Spicy Sandalwood: "Fleur D'Iris" & "Bois de Santal" by Karl Lagerfeld

Karl Lagerfeld unveils two new creations that celebrate the noble raw materials of perfumery: the floral women's fragrance "Fleur d'Iris" and the warm men's fragrance "Bois de Santal".

With the new releases, the German fashion house continues its popular "Les Parfums Matières" line: while the Eau de Parfum "Fleur d'Iris" focuses on the powdery elegance of iris, the Eau de Toilette "Bois de Santal" focuses on the warm, creamy depth of sandalwood.

Both creations were developed by Emilie Bevierre-Coppermann and Pierre-Constantin Guéros in collaboration with Symrise and embody the collection's philosophy: fine ingredients, interpreted in a modern way. 

Fleur d'Iris - A powdery embrace with sparkling freshness

In keeping with KARL LAGERFELD's philosophy of transforming the best ingredients into wearable creations, this elegant Eau de Parfum celebrates the powdery, floral and slightly woody scent of iris.

At the heart of "Fleur d'Iris" is the creamy-powdery iris, surrounded by fruity-floral accents and warm Madagascar vanilla. The opening exudes the gentle woodiness of iris, enlivened by the sparkling freshness of mandarin. The heart of the fragrance becomes softer and more sensual: cyclamen and exotic orchid merge with iris concrete before the composition ends with a warm base of bourbon vanilla absolute and the sweet, almond-like accents of heliotrope.

The bottle of "Fleur d'Iris" also pays tribute to the iris: in soft violet, the transparent glass bottle is reminiscent of the colors of its petals.

Bois de Santal - A spicy-woody fragrance with a warm amber depth

Fashion meets fragrance creation in this warm, textured Eau de Toilette that celebrates the creamy scent of sandalwood and spicy black pepper from Madagascar.

"Bois de Santal" captures the warm, velvety essence of sandalwood, combined with spicy and aromatic nuances. The invigorating spiciness of Madagascar pepper unfolds in the top note, while aromatic sage and resinous cypress add an herbaceous, woody nuance. As the fragrance progresses, it gains depth and intensity: precious woods such as palo santo merge with sandalwood absolute, rounded off by a base of creamy tonka bean, the woody-spicy fragrance ingredient sympep and warm amber.

To reflect the sensuality and warmth of the composition, the bottle is presented in a translucent amber shade.

The new fragrances are available in bottle sizes of 50 and 100 ml.
