"Cyprus Shell" opens with a refreshing opening of sweet pear, fruity mandarin and salty notes. In the heart note, nuances of velvety rose and iris resinoid meet incense, creating a floral depth and spicy warmth. Finally, the base combines oakmoss, patchouli and musk to create an earthy, soft finish.

Inspiration - historical trade routes and old recipes

The creation pays homage to the historic trade routes of the Muda di Siria, which connected Venice with the most important ports of the eastern Mediterranean - from Cyprus to Aleppo. Precious ingredients such as roses, resins, iris and spices arrived in the lagoon city via this sea route and shaped the Venetian art of fragrancing.

"Cyprus Shell" is a modern reinterpretation of traditional formulations as handed down in the "Secreti Nobilissimi dell'Arte Profumatoria" - early Venetian collections of perfume-making recipes. Classic raw materials such as iris, rose, oakmoss and incense are combined with a modern, salty-powdery freshness.
