Dew-kissed Petals!
Curious about Suave Petals, I was drawn in by its fragrance twin ... Narciso For Her EdP!

So, I had to test the Venetian scent since I already own 2 fragrances from this wonderful
fragrance house, the bottles are beautiful, and then there's the little advertising text...
"Peach blossoms represent feminine beauty in Asia. During the Chinese New Year, those seeking love must buy a peach tree."
...ah! :)

In my little local perfumery, there are always discounts, and I simply couldn't resist even though I had firmly resolved not to buy anything .... just sniffing, Sweetsmell ... right? ... yes, of course :)
I probably won't buy a peach tree ... but I will find out when the Chinese New Year begins and cover myself in these peach blossoms ... maybe love will work out after all ;)

About the scent:
Suave Petals starts with a fresh-fruity note ... for me, it's not just the blossoms ... a velvety peach is also in the mix ... fresh from the tree ... still dew-kissed!
Soon, a lovely-bright rose and wonderful powdery iris join in.
Woody-spicy-light green notes blend into the scent's progression. Patchouli here is not earthy, nor heavy... perfectly dosed to give the fragrance some depth.
Fluffy-soft musk completes the magic.
I find it beautiful that the peach blossoms do not leave the fragrance ... they remain ... even if only very subtly!
The longevity is just under 8 hours ... the sillage is in the moderate range ... a delicate scent veil envelops me sensually.
Suave Petals is wearable all year round ... I would claim it belongs to the always-goers :)
The bottle ... just like the other Venetians ... wonderful glass art!

Conclusion:
Dew-kissed petals...
Rose & iris - powder-dusted.
Woody-spicy-light green tones provide depth!
This musk magic is beautiful :)

Suave Petals is harmonious - wonderful - sensual - enchanting!
As much as I now appreciate the Narciso musk, the For Her EdP(!) cannot keep up. It feels harsh and uneven compared to Suave Petals.
For anyone looking for an alternative because they don't quite connect with the Narcisos ... please test it ... you will be thrilled ;)

I wish I were a poet...
My blind purchase in August. I couldn't help it, I was so hooked and just had to have it.
It arrived beautifully packaged, with a band around the red cardboard box that I carefully removed without destroying it. Upon opening the box, the first thing I found was a card, beautifully made - and then it was inside. The feast for the eyes bottle. I must have stared at it in the packaging for minutes before I placed it on the table...
Depending on the light, it refracts in wonderful colors; like a child, I turned it back and forth and simply enjoyed it.
But: Woman, get to the content, that's what interests more than light games in the sun!

I wish I were a poet.
Then I would do justice to your beauty in beautiful words, I would write praises about you, I would conjure up vivid, awake, radiant images of your beauty.
I would write that this fragrance is one of the most beautiful, purest I have been able to test. Like light in an autumn forest, pushing back the gray mist and letting delicate spring blossoms rain down on me. Like the sun nudging little clouds and like small rays of light flashing through fluffy holes.
Your floral power is so wonderfully gentle. A fine nectarine blossom surrounds me, and I think of the yellow flesh of a ripe nectarine and the smooth, wonderfully soft skin of the beautiful fruit. I smell mild patchouli, not the grave-earthy kind, but a sweet, warm, very noble patchouli that hovers around the queen of flowers. It is the rose that I mean.
I have learned to love the rose in fragrances, as long as it doesn't push itself forward in a prickly, proud way. No, this rose, I would write, has entwined delicate tendrils, its full, drunken heads have bloomed, the colors of the petals are even reflected in the bottle and give the fragrance a sensual radiance. Only in the middle of the scent, when the invigorating nectarine celebrates a little festival with the patchouli and the rose in the midst of gray days, an iris root joins in, adding depth, powderiness, grounding, and elegance.
For a long time, they stand so closely together, weaving scent connections and being intertwined in quiet beauty, until the musk finally joins your dance, positioning itself in the center and your delicate fingertips touch, like a mere breath, a fluttery, gentle touch.
Nectarine and musk, what a delicate connection!
The flowers never lose their strength, they remain present until the end, the sweetness of the blooms is always there, yet never intrusive or too heavy.

I would love to write to you that you arrived on a day when we could really use hope. And while I waited, your scent surrounded me, making the time pass more beautifully than usual when waiting for something. You tamed my impatience, my anger, and your aura of quiet, luminous beauty was with me.
At first, I thought you would fade relatively quickly from my skin to my innermost being, but after hours, I could still clearly feel you with every movement. Not as strong as at the beginning, but you remained distinctly perceptible here for 8 hours.

Soft flower petals, soft petals
For days like this.
And for every other day when I will now wear you and see before me a rain of blossoms and rose petals and stand in it like in a shower of light, enjoying you with all my heart.

Floral Purity
Suave Petals was a blind buy... Something went wrong with the order... in the end, I somehow ordered 2 bottles "laugh" :) how silly...

When it arrived, I of course had to try Suave Petals right away... "Hopefully it's good - after all, you somehow managed to order 2 of them, you idiot!" I thought to myself :)

Sprayed on my arm, the sun immediately shines for me... I smell peach and nectarine blossoms, so fresh and pure... absolutely delicate and youthful....

Alongside this, a beautiful, mature, and noble white rose joins in, along with a nice breeze of musk... The ingredients are really well balanced....

....simply lovely and tender... "thank goodness it's exactly my thing" :)

Suave Petals is for me a fragrance that can be worn at a wedding... Delicate yet noticeable and still somehow unobtrusive, fresh, pure, and wonderfully floral....

I'm glad my mishap with the order happened with this fragrance, because I really like Suave Petals a lot :)

Suave Petals has no particularly strong sillage and the longevity for me is rather average at 4-5 hours... but you can always reapply ;P

Charming or Slick?
Once again, a brand I haven't tested yet and can only guess where the sample came from - sorry and thank you very much! At first, I kept the samples in separate little bags, but that eventually became impossible.

A beautiful bottle here in the picture, well done, I also really like the others in this series, not too playful, but elegantly shaped. Just because of the bottle, I would have assumed this fragrance is quite expensive, but in fact, one could still call it relatively mid-priced, I mean - at least not an overly extravagant Christmas gift.

About the name:
Suave - charming, courteous, slick, skillful
Petals - flower petals

Well, it's not really easy to describe a fragrance that doesn't quite appeal to you. Not that I can't access the scent - I believe I know what is meant and the direction is not foreign to me. But perhaps it is the rose that dominates here, intensified by the nectarine blossom, along with the intensity. This is not a delicate peach scent, as one might think if reading quickly. In my garden, I have an English rose, it is pale pink and is already blooming for the second time after a short period. Thanks to some tips from Seerose! (always cut the old flowers nicely...) I love the scent of this rose, and it is also stunningly beautiful, nostalgically densely packed, like a little dream pillow. It smells fresh - fruity - slightly tart - wonderful, you understand! ;) Fresh roses, but almost all other flowers smell dreamy! Even as a child, I used to stick my nose into everything, often walking around with some flower pollen on my nose - why is my impression of floral perfumes often a bit different?!

The rose blend I currently have on my arm seems somewhat "different." It is a spicy soap rose. Bright and clean. Until now, I wasn't a big fan of so-called clean scents, I usually find them pleasant but not very interesting; untitled blew me away with its purity, that's true, there are a few candidates, and when I randomly tested Cashmere Mist yesterday, I was also smitten. But that doesn't happen often. This iris here doesn't start out particularly powdery; in combination with the musk, it seems to create a somewhat soapy scent note, that's my impression. However, it's not a nostalgic rose soap; the scent is too musky-clean for that.

So, I've only applied a drop on my arm, and the sillage is impressive! Here I get images of women who could wear this scent well, or who might like it, so ideally, please don't take my head cinema too strictly...

The lady is rather small and delicate to average height, slim and energetic. She knows what she wants, keeps everything in order, and has a very healthy self-confidence. She wants to be noticed and does quite a bit for that. She likely wears more makeup or regularly visits a beautician along with UV treatments. She loves luxury, for which she is willing to work hard. She enjoys talking a lot, is sporty and diligent, possibly plays tennis, and her clothes can be snug. It's probably important to her what other people think of her, but she wouldn't admit that; she also prefers to keep her perceived weaknesses to herself. She appreciates clarity and despises ambiguities.
She likes to wear this scent during the day, along with light colors, which she also prefers in the evening. I don't see the scent as age-specific, but rather for women between 25-55 years.
(I have two very lovely sisters from the 'about' clean scent faction)

After an hour, the scent has retreated a bit and no longer seems as bright and intense; it becomes a bit warmer and now also more powdery. Now I find the scent quite pleasant and wearable, but I am surprised by the noticeable retreat, as I now have to bring my nose a bit closer to my arm. After two hours, it would be too close to the skin for me for the price - mid or not - so I will bravely repeat the test with 2 drops and add here.
As quiet as it is right now, I actually get almost a tender feeling for my little clean lady...

I consider this scent to be wearable year-round, possibly even in winter. Just for completeness: I can hardly imagine it on a man.

Stronger than Time ...
... or: what is really?

Yes, there are those days when the outer world is in dissonant disharmony with the inner one. Days when any sensory stimulation wants to be well-measured. Days when dark clouds hang over the soul's sky and the heart feels heavy, and on such days it is also hard to be grateful. Because sometimes things happen that are completely unexpected, and because sometimes life can only be understood in reverse.

The moment this fragrance found its way to me was such a day. I was in Munich, wandering aimlessly through the pedestrian zone when I stumbled into a very sweet little perfumery, perhaps just wanting to spontaneously buy a hairband. I found that too - along with this simply enchanting fragrance, which soon found its way into my shopping bag.

And me, who normally can linger around a scent for what feels like forever before I finally buy it or not?? When asked if she could perhaps show me a nice perfume, I replied to the very friendly lady (with rather little motivation on my part), hmm yes, why not. She showed me three fragrances, and with this one, not only did my nose perk up, but my heart did a little leap as well. Suddenly, a rosy golden ray of light in the gray-clouded sky. Oh??!!
"Suave Petals" initially comes across very gently and full of lightness, like a hint of a peach grove, fruity, and somehow also delicious. Once that settles, very harmonious, white floral, subtle accords join in softly ... and what remains is a gentle, soft, yet surprisingly long-lasting fragrance that truly accompanies me all day. It becomes a little pleasantly woody, yet never loud, and I can hardly perceive any patchouli in it. In no time, it has become a kind of good friend to me (though never a replacement for the vibrant one I recently lost in a tragic way), but one that can silently hold me when I need it and provide me with a blanket to snuggle into. Since it moved in with me a few weeks ago, my choice every morning has been easy. It has become a loyal companion for me, and when I wear it, I actually find a smile in my heart again - and in my ears, the song by the always cool Udo Lindenberg "Stronger than Time," which has a special meaning for me in many ways. A comfort? No. It should and cannot be. But like a delicately colored rainbow in the dark summer sky before a thunderstorm, with a shimmer of golden hope in it.

Beautiful smooth mix of different flowers. At times a bit detergent like, at times fruits make me think of shampoo. Bright yet melancholy.

Beautiful musky floral scent that smells similar to some Narciso Rodriguez fragrances. Good value for money with descent longevity.

It works well for my nose. Everything in the pyramid fits, none of it is dominant and gets on my nerves.

A floral musk cuddler in the style of N. Rodriguez. Those who love flowers and a lot of musk will enjoy it. I find it lacks something special.

A not too sweet rose with lipstick elegance, sparkling citrus freshness, and subtle mature vanilla. Alluring. Convincing.
