Dew-kissed Petals!
Curious about Suave Petals, I was drawn in by its fragrance twin ... Narciso For Her EdP!
So, I had to test the Venetian scent since I already own 2 fragrances from this wonderful
fragrance house, the bottles are beautiful, and then there's the little advertising text...
"Peach blossoms represent feminine beauty in Asia. During the Chinese New Year, those seeking love must buy a peach tree."
...ah! :)
In my little local perfumery, there are always discounts, and I simply couldn't resist even though I had firmly resolved not to buy anything .... just sniffing, Sweetsmell ... right? ... yes, of course :)
I probably won't buy a peach tree ... but I will find out when the Chinese New Year begins and cover myself in these peach blossoms ... maybe love will work out after all ;)
About the scent:
Suave Petals starts with a fresh-fruity note ... for me, it's not just the blossoms ... a velvety peach is also in the mix ... fresh from the tree ... still dew-kissed!
Soon, a lovely-bright rose and wonderful powdery iris join in.
Woody-spicy-light green notes blend into the scent's progression. Patchouli here is not earthy, nor heavy... perfectly dosed to give the fragrance some depth.
Fluffy-soft musk completes the magic.
I find it beautiful that the peach blossoms do not leave the fragrance ... they remain ... even if only very subtly!
The longevity is just under 8 hours ... the sillage is in the moderate range ... a delicate scent veil envelops me sensually.
Suave Petals is wearable all year round ... I would claim it belongs to the always-goers :)
The bottle ... just like the other Venetians ... wonderful glass art!
Conclusion:
Dew-kissed petals...
Rose & iris - powder-dusted.
Woody-spicy-light green tones provide depth!
This musk magic is beautiful :)
Suave Petals is harmonious - wonderful - sensual - enchanting!
As much as I now appreciate the Narciso musk, the For Her EdP(!) cannot keep up. It feels harsh and uneven compared to Suave Petals.
For anyone looking for an alternative because they don't quite connect with the Narcisos ... please test it ... you will be thrilled ;)
