The fragrance opens with a refreshing, spicy blend of cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, and pink pepper, lending it a sharp warmth. At the heart, the composition takes on a much deeper character: here, the soft sweetness of dates meets a masculine structure defined by leather, oud, and saffron. Myrrh and frankincense enhance the resinous character and lend the fragrance an oriental depth. The base notes conclude with a warm and sensual finish. Amber, vanilla, and tonka bean provide a soft creaminess, while patchouli and cedarwood offer an earthy, woody contrast.

A textile tribute: The Panno del Casentino

“Casentino” is inspired by the traditional Panno del Casentino, a fulled wool fabric from the Italian valley of the same name. The fabric, whose origins date back to the Middle Ages, is characterized by a distinctive “curly surface” (the typical nubs) and exceptional durability. Originally developed for the workwear of shepherds and monks, the material is now considered the epitome of rustic Italian elegance.
