Mademoiselle Chérie Dior
The new Miss Dior perfume smells to me exactly like a mixture of "Miss Dior Chérie (2011) (Eau de Parfum) | Dior" and "Coco Mademoiselle (Eau de Parfum) | Chanel"!
I find this mix very successful, but I can also understand that some people find this fragrance too sweet, too generic and too playful. The fragrance is very sweet but in my opinion it still has that certain something due to the Dior DNA and the similarity to "Coco Mademoiselle (Eau de Parfum) | Chanel". I find the mandarin and patchouli in particular to be similar and give the perfume a very slight fresher and more tart/earthy touch, which rounds off the sweetness somewhat. I can also smell the listed moss, which for me is another interesting counterpart to the sweet fruits. I don't think it's similar to "La Vie est Belle L'Eau de Parfum | Lancôme" but you can understand why the fragrance is compared to LVEB flankers due to its sugary sweetness. The Miss Dior perfume is definitely a sweet and playful perfume and is probably more suitable for younger women, but those who like it will be happy to buy it. I really don't think it's a bad perfume! :)

The end of a journey
My journey began with "Delina (Eau de Parfum) | Parfums de Marly". Despite the many positive reviews and statements, I was unfortunately not impressed. I found the fragrance too intrusive and somewhat pungently sour. I then tried "Delina La Rosée | Parfums de Marly". I liked this Delina better in terms of the notes alone, because the notes I found disturbing were replaced by even more floral notes. At first, La Rosée really appealed to me and I was very happy with it for a whole spring and summer. At some point, I continued to test my way through the world of perfumes and discovered many other great rose fragrances, some with similar notes to Delinas. Compared to these, La Rosée has unfortunately become too aquatic and too pungent for me, something still bothered me.

But now to the "Delina Exclusif | Parfums de Marly", which is actually the subject of this article. The end of my Delina journey, so to speak. I was very biased at first. I don't really like incense, pear and grapefruit in fragrances at all. And they are all represented here. In a perfumery, I only briefly smelled the bottle and test strips and immediately said to my boyfriend "no, I don't like these, they have this and that in them." After selling my other two bottles, I wanted to give the Exclusiv one last fair chance before I really let go of the Delina range. And then the bottle arrived at our home. It was already beautiful on the atomizer and then even more beautiful on the back of my hand. I can smell all the notes but with a lot of vanilla, which rounds the whole thing off nicely for me. A great, unique and special rose fragrance. Not too sweet but with character and bite. A very seductive fragrance for women. Not one that I would wear in everyday life, but something for special occasions. My boyfriend also really likes Delina Exclusiv. The flacons have always been a dream for me anyway, I love that vintage princess touch. Well, my Delina journey has come to an end, but now I have to get one last bottle... :)

Girl of Everyday
For me, Girl of Now is simply a wonderful everyday fragrance. But it is by no means too boring or monotonous. Girl of Now is a very nice change from my purely floral everyday fragrances. The great notes harmonize with each other, I particularly like the almond note and mandarin. Fortunately, I don't notice the pear very strongly, but I do notice the tonka bean more, especially towards the end. Overall, a very beautiful, warm and slightly creamy fragrance that I think would suit almost any woman.
I don't find the longevity and sillage intoxicating, but it's okay for the price.

I recently came across this fragrance through a sample. I had to buy a bottle the same day because I liked it so much :)

Quality, complexity and the pursuit of elegance
She knows exactly what she wants and how to get it. However, she is by no means madam-like or engaging, but respectful and gallant. She never allows herself to be provoked and knows when talk is silver and when silence is golden. Her style is timeless & minimalist, but with small details. Under the long sleeve of her cashmere sweater, her expensive watch is not on display for anyone to see, just as high-end logos can only be found on the inside of her coat, because she only wears and owns certain luxury items for herself. An intelligent career woman who at first glance appears distant and cool, almost arrogant, but as soon as you speak to her and get to know her, she radiates such warmth, cordiality and down-to-earthness that you immediately feel at ease in her presence. She and her husband are perfect for each other and have an intimate marriage based on deepest love and affection, respect, appreciation and passion.

Gentle fluidity gold embodies pure elegance for me and reminds me of a woman I admire and secretly aspire to become. The fragrance has a certain depth and coolness through juniper, coriander seed & woods and such a beautifully radiant warmth and sweetness through vanilla, nutmeg & musk. Even at first sniff, you can tell that this is no ordinary vanilla fragrance. You immediately recognize the quality, complexity and depth of the fragrance. It starts off spicy with a present nutmeg note and becomes warmer and sweeter towards the drydown until, after around 8 hours, only a very light vanilla magic remains. In my opinion, the fragrance is rather feminine and not unisex, I always thought Gentle fluidity gold was for women and the counterpart Gentle fluidity silver for men and therefore cannot imagine the fragrance on a man. But maybe that's simply because the fragrance reminds me of a woman as described above. I prefer to wear floral fragrances in everyday life, so the fragrance is only suitable for me in sparing doses for everyday use, but it is my No.1 for going out in the evening. Gentle fluidity gold lets me go through the evening/day with confidence and strive for elegance. For me, the fragrance is definitely worth every penny.

A very successful dupe
It's no secret that "Ôud Bouquet | Lancôme" was the original and, gallantly put, the inspiration for Shaghaf Oud. I am actually very neutral towards dupes. I know a few dupes that I find even better than the original but the hundred thousandth BR clone, which is only a synthetic sugar water mush and hardly has anything to do with the actually until now complex and unique fragrance, must now really not be. I think there we are on Parfumo probably almost all agree.
I already own the Orginal and was just curious how much the two fragrances resemble each other and which one I will find better. I was given a bottling for my birthday, tested and compared both fragrances extensively.

In my opinion, both fragrances start exactly the same. Very opulent and loud but still harmonious. I thought great, then I save myself a lot of money, if both fragrances smell exactly the same. But in the drydown and later close up then show some small differences for me. Shaghaf Oud is a bit sweeter, more vanilla and minimally more synthetic. Really minimal. I'm almost sure only our trained noses will really notice a difference, those who have nothing to do with perfume for example will notice absolutely no difference. "Ôud Bouquet | Lancôme" is, in my opinion, more floral; the rose is a bit more present and, as I notice, also higher quality. In general, the scent is a bit deeper, more complex and somehow darker for me. We are really talking about minimal differences here as I said, Shaghaf Oud is an extremely good dupe, maybe even the best I have come across so far. It comes extremely close to the original, 99% in my opinion. It's definitely worth it if you don't want to pay a lot more money because of minimal differences. I am also torn whether I trade it in, because I like the slightly sweeter and vanilla of the Shaghaf Oud very much! As for the longevity, both have above average longevity and are true H&S beasts. Shaghaf Oud drifts but a bit faster in the skin drydown into the vanillige, while Oud Bouqet has a bit longer of more saffron, rose and oud to offer. The race in durability wins for me quite narrowly "Ôud Bouquet | Lancôme", perhaps by 30 minutes. ;)

Conclusion and I point back to the headline: a very successful dupe, hats off!
