A rose waiting to be picked
L'eau à la Rose is a thing of beauty, but also delicate and almost ethereal. She's a pixy fairy: feminine and playful. The fragrance is the embodiment of this idea: fresh, fruity, floral but also fleeting, as it disappears from my skin in under 4 hours.

I get a nice, fresh and floral rose. It ain't carnal or heavy or cloying, it smells like a rose that still hasn't been picked from its bush. I get a subtle note of lychee: sweet, pink and fruity. Peony also acts as support to the rose note and helps it linger a little longer. As it dries down, it becomes more a musky, warm rose scent. It still stays very feminine, but it becomes a little less light and a little bit more warm.

I'm not a rose girly, but this is a very nice introduction to roses. For those who want something light and not cloying, this is a good choice. I won't be buying a full bottle as the performance is bad on my skin, but I do have to say I enjoyed sniffing it while it lasted on myself.

Just give it time
This was one of the four MFK samples that got me into this hobby.
For months, I blew this off as just another dusty rose and never even bothered to test on my skin. I pushed it to the back of my fragrance drawer and continued on the search to discover a fragrance that truly captured the scent of real life velvety red roses freshly cut with delicate droplets of morning dew still lingering on its petals.
Then one day I decided to give her another chance and spritzed her onto my wrist. As i went about my day I kept getting these whiffs of real life roses, so reminiscent of real roses in fact that I actually looked around to see where they were. That’s when I realized I had already found the perfect rose scent that I’d spent months searching for.
Test on skin and let it fully develop before dismissing this beauty because she deserves a chance and I now want a full bottle.

Rose water makes good mood
Actually, I'm just reading comments.
And I would be presumptuous to judge. The name of the perfume didn't give me much hope. But it has something special. The rose smells incredibly good. What's special is that it doesn't smell so much on the skin but hovers around me. With every movement, streams of this rose move in the air around me...
and it touches and touches me and brings back memories of beautiful experiences that I never really had. It doesn't make sense, but it feels the same.
Even now, after 6 hours, she is still radiant in the air around me.
Maybe the fragrance is called " L'eau" because it creates the illusion of permeability and is not so tangible for me.
Even though I am in the fragrance stream, I cannot perceive much on the skin.
I think it's nice... to be surrounded by rosewater.
This "water", however, smells beyond all measure noble, elegant and sinfully expensive.
These roses are intoxicating and give me a wonderful feeling for life.

Unfortunately not as expected
I bought the perfume in May and find it quite intrusively "rosy". I thought it would bring a certain freshness, but even if I can perceive it briefly, it fades quickly.
Unfortunately, very similar to any "rose" fragrance oil from the drugstore. In the long run, this intensity of rosé and rosé really spoiled my taste for rose and now almost makes me feel nauseous when I wear it. Perhaps this is an individual feeling, but in my opinion it is useful and important information to be able to give a fair assessment.

When Amor was still very young, this was his favorite fragrance.
When Cupid, the little god of love, was still very young in the world, he fluttered around with his bow and arrow and chose this perfume. A love fragrance, without a doubt, yet innocent, flowery, fragrant, delicately melting and naturally rosy. The fragrance texture rises chaste, fresh and cheerful, then goes for an intense walk in a fantastic rose garden and arrives in the evening with a very emotional and perhaps even great flirtation. Although the perfume is a little sweet, it is subtle and never vulgar or intrusive, always beautifully close to great love, but always at a well-behaved distance. And yet at the very bottom of the base of the fragrance, due to the musk, there is something amorous and yes, even erotic, without you noticing it at first.
In subtle doses, the perfume will certainly help the little god of love to place his arrow accurately.

A delicate and feminine rose with dew drops among its petals. Smells fresh, floral and slightly fruity; quite close to rosewater. Lovely!

Very fresh, clean and strong rose-scent. If you didn't know its expensive, it could smell like your grandmas bathroom-handsoap. But I aint mad at it.
