How to Smell Like a Strawberry Cloud
Imagine a burst of strawberry-flavored bubble gums, filling your senses with delight. That's the first impression of Giorgio Armani’s perfume, My Way.

I smell tuberose, imparting a strawberry hue. Tuberose lends a floral elegance. I detect powdered sugar, although the fragrance is not cloying. This scent has a sugar-powdery texture. Interestingly, despite the sweet associations, it can’t be labeled as gourmand; it retains a distinctly perfumery character.

As My Way dries down, it becomes creamier and smoother, with a hint of rose that reminds me of Lancôme Idôle. It's a cozy and comforting scent. However, it doesn't last long on my skin; after less than an hour, it fades away without a trace. On the other hand, it lingers on clothing until laundry day and “speaks to me” from the laundry basket.

I don't own this perfume, but I have a similar one: Bvlgari's «Splendida Tubereuse Mystique». I used to think they were identical, but a side-by-side comparison proved me wrong. Tubereuse Mystique is deeper and darker, with a touch of smokiness, resin, and herbal notes. For me, Tubereuse Mystique is like a child of Lira by Xerjoff and My Way. I prefer Tubereuse Mystique over My Way, because it has more depth and complexity.

My Way is a lovely and safe perfume, suitable for any occasion. Whether you're going for a casual walk or a festive party, you can't go wrong with this scent. Just be careful with the dosage, because it can be quite strong and overwhelming for some people. It works best in warm and windy weather, but it tends to hide in the rain.

If you're looking for a simple and pleasant perfume with tuberose, My Way is a great choice. It's also a good option if you're new to tuberose perfumes and want to explore this note.

Floral Elegance
This fragrance exudes delicacy and lightness, enveloped in a floral composition with a subtle hint of powdery cleanliness. I detect notes of tangy citrus, the airy essence of white flowers, the peel of unripe pear. I also sense a subtle undertone of plastic throughout the lifespan of the fragrance.

While my childhood memories include the natural scent of honeysuckle, this fragrance fails to evoke that specific recollection.

Upon skin testing, it showed a duration of approximately 2 hours, yet its presence lingers on fabric for well over a day with a restrained and noble sillage.

While “Mediterranean Honeysuckle” by Aerin fails to find a place in my personal preference, Lanvin “Eclat d’Arpège” follows similar path, but feels fresher, more natural, slightly sweeter, and significantly more affordable. While not identical, both fall into the category of "don't know what to wear, want something simple, understandable, and pleasant." In my opinion, Honeysuckle doesn’t justify its price, perhaps only appealing for its aesthetically pleasing bottle rather than its content.

Despite my reservations, I believe this fragrance holds promise for those seeking a singular, delightful perfume in a beautiful, elegant bottle, gracing their shelf.
