Vetiver in the centre, iridescent scent
Zafar starts with a strong medicinal smell. Then more and more a woody, earthy note comes through, something leathery and flowery develops in the further course. Later I thought to smell a Violacea scent, which surprised me very much. Up to this point I was enthusiastic about Zafar, but unfortunately the shimmering scent impression was quickly gone. Because of the small sample I had only applied one drop, this may have falsified the test a bit. I smelled vetiver from start to finish, which goes very well with oud. However, I had the impression that the vetiver had clearly overlapped everything else. All in all I find Zafar a well done Oud perfume.

...in the antique shop, the old wood floor creaked loudly under the bear claws...
After my statement 8 months ago I wanted to test Hayat again with some distance. A certain scent, which I had never smelled like that again, had become engrained in my mind. After spraying it on, Hayat almost smells like glue with a slightly animal note. It took about a quarter of an hour for the great woody scent to shimmer through. At the beginning the perfume looks slightly sweet and fresh (Lavender?). I also noticed a berry note. But the scents disappear within the next hours. A very heavy woody/resinous scent develops (almost like furniture polish) which really tickles the nose. I wonder if this could really be oud, I have never smelled anything like it in any test. Maybe the molecule 01 was added ? The smell does not seem natural to me because it is so intense. It fascinated me so much that I had to smell my clothes all day long. The smell lasts for 2-3 days on fabric. Since I know some other smells in the meantime and my smell perception has probably changed a little bit because of that I simply have to increase my rating by half a point to 9. If the price wasn't that high I would surely strike. So I'm looking for a cheaper oud fragrance that smells so great and woody.

Good recommendation from the forum, but needs time to develop...
The prelude is really fierce, Oudh Siufi starts with a strong animal and slightly medicinal note, accompanied by something woody and a slight sweetness that quickly fades away. In the course of time the scent becomes sour, I could smell something cheesy as well. Because of the initially strong silage you should apply it carefully if you don't want to make yourself unpopular with your fellow men. The perfume faded quite fast on my skin, on my clothes it lasts about one working day. Already after 1-2 hours the scent had developed nicely, it smelled deliciously like berries (always thought of blackberries). The then discreet and natural looking scent was later only occasionally, even smelling in the direction of the air. I did not notice any unpleasant side note (like a pencil scent), for the price I think Oud Siufi is a good oud for all curious people.

dose carefully !
For me a controversial scent: the beginning is already quite hard, only after about 7 hours L'Oudh smells good on my skin. Something fungal-animal with a bitter medicinal side smell accompanied me for hours (maybe it really reminds me of horse droppings). The silage was very strong, it radiated a dry, warm, even rather dusty flair. On my clothes there was practically no scent development. The perfume was already quite penetrating, therefore one should probably "carefully" deal with it. On my skin I found it a bit more pleasant. It's just a niche scent that is difficult to wear, but you can see its high quality in the overall composition.

Class Rose scent
A really good rose oud fragrance, probably the best I have tested so far. The start starts with honey and clearly oud, something mossy or resinous was present. The animal note fades only after a long time, but is not disturbing. It conveys a certain noble excluvisity, which is not found in other Rose Oud perfumes. The Mukhallat Dahn Al Oudh Moattaq reminds me of a great scent that I know from my childhood, but I can't figure out what it could be. The rose comes out even stronger later without smelling "old".
