Pink tidbits
Burberry Her Intense... so many times I have shown you no interest, so many times I would have strolled past you...And then there was the nice saleswoman, who held a test strip under my nose. And already you had my full attention.

The scent starts out sweet and fruity. It actually reminds me of the raspberry candies that destroy your palate so wonderfully. Here it is the blackberry, which is absolutely in the spotlight.
And there it also stops first.

After a few minutes, a light hairspray note joins in and gradually a warm, vanilla scent joins the berry. Probably the benzoin.

Her Intense is more pleasing now, not just sweet and loud.

And wait... it does remind me of another fragrance?
Right, in the drydown it shows parallels to Cloud by Ariana Grande and thus for one or the other possibly also to Baccarat Rouge 540 (I had not yet under the nose). After all, the master had at Burberry Her Intense also his fingers in the game.

I like the fragrance at the moment quite like. He provides a good mood and is never too much in the changeable weather (sometimes the sun looks through, sometimes it rains for a few minutes). On my skin, by the way, he is really persistent.

Who likes it sweet and fruity.... go for it! :)

My personal Pear Crumble
It's raining. I put on my apron and open the baking book
I turn the pages, find the right page quickly.
Here it is... the recipe that lifts my spirits immediately: Pear Crumble.
Sweet, warm and fruity, just the way I like it

I don't need the list of ingredients, I know it by heart.
Take a plump, green, not quite ripe pear.
These are cut into small pieces.

I start and immediately I notice it: the fruit gives off its fresh smell.

Now you turn to the dough, knead it to a homogeneous mass.
Add a few vanilla beans, a pinch of spice is mixed in

In pretty dessert bowls, spread the mixture on the beguilingly fragrant pear pieces.
While the pear crumble slowly turns a light brownish colour in the whirring heat of the oven,
it gives off this wonderful and warm fragrance throughout the house.
The pear now smells more discreet and caramelised, but the vanilla is clearly perceptible and warming through, the spices join in.

A smile spreads on my lips.

Hach, such a wonderful pleasure in the cooler season...
