another FK medicinal scent

If you have Her Elixir, which 'replaced' this as an "intense" flanker, you don't need this one. I agree with the medicinal notes others mention, I think due to the benzoin-berry blend... and it is more amber-y than I prefer. But, if you know you like Her *and* you prefer amber-rich scents, this would be worth it. I'm glad I tried it but I'm going to stick with the more lactonic and less-medicinal Elixir.

Not Bad at All

Well, hello there! This one really packs a punch! Finally, I have no reason to complain about the H&S when it comes to a fragrance. I’ve already made a statement, but I still feel the need to elaborate!

I sprayed it on Saturday morning at 7 and it got to accompany me on my furniture shopping spree. And I must say, it showed more endurance during shopping than my husband. But that's really not saying much.

Upon spraying, I smell, just like with the Her edp, strawberries. No blackberries, raspberries, or any other berries, just strawberries. I'm already happy that I can specifically pick this out. While the Her edp now develops a somewhat soapy-artificial (hairspray) note that I quite like, the Intense goes all in and supports the berry opening with a warm floral bouquet (according to the pyramid, jasmine) but nothing cloying or overwhelming, it simply serves to refine and enhance the berry sweetness. And it lasts and lasts and lasts. Well into the afternoon, then the fragrance takes a turn, transforms into butter-caramel, and smells simply delicious enough to bite into. I probably always associate the caramel scent with benzoin. At least from my perspective. So dreamy and elegant. I could still perceive it on me at 1 AM, and not exactly quietly. Other fragrances could take a few notes from this one! Okay, I smell like a sweet treat now, but I never feel uncomfortable with it. The scent is designed in such a way that it just fits. It also doesn’t cause any nausea, which can happen with some others. It has sillage, but although it clings to me like glue, it's anything but unpleasant! My husband certainly hasn’t claimed otherwise or dared to! No one complained at the office today either. It seems to have a connection with my skin chemistry! At least I hope so! :-D

I can’t answer the question of whether it comes close to BR540. Unfortunately, I haven’t tested it yet, but I will soon. Although I’m still hesitant due to the ambivalence regarding the scent perception. I’ve had Cloud by Ariana Grande before and must say that it also smells similar. But by no means as rich, and certainly not as long-lasting as this magnificent specimen here. Absolutely no comparison. The design of the bottle is okay. But that’s not important to me in light of the content!
I hope I could bring it a bit closer to you. A test for all sweet tooth lovers must be in order!

While strolling through the flea market, my fragrance dealer approached me and pressed Her Intense into my hand.
"This is something for you," were her conspiratorial words.
She knows me, as I belong to the regular clientele.
However, I am not allowed to test there.
But I was familiar with Her EdT and I like it a lot.
So I wrapped up the Intense.
At home, the reveal.
Her Intense is truly intense - and also has an intense sweetness.
But before it becomes too much of a good thing, it takes a turn towards the smoky - very pleasant and interesting.
Moreover, the jasmine softens the blackberry sweetness, giving it a touch of elegance.
The longevity is also good, and I am glad that my dealer recommended this fragrance to me.

Jam with the Beetle :-)

Today I got to know Burberry.
And this is a classic jam made from red berries in the most delicious sense of the word. So when you cook the jam and it starts to boil and thicken, a frothy film forms on the surface. It is airy and sweet. That's exactly what you try with a spoon... very carefully you blow on it and dive in :-) The jam foam will stretch a bit and stick to your teeth.
At the bottom of the pan, the jam got a little burnt and a faint bitter smell lingered in the air.
* I don't hear any jasmine (to my regret). And as for the benzoin, I have no idea :-) But when you press your nose directly to the skin, there is a note that is strange. As if a beetle is sitting on a huge beautiful raspberry. But for the aromatic flavor, one can endure not just the little pest, but much much more :-).... maybe that's the benzoin?

But overall, it is a red, sweet, and transparent jam syrup with berries on top.

Sweet Fruity Super Fragrance

We know that Francis Kurkdjian creates wonderful scents, especially after Baccarat Rouge 540. It’s not a dupe, but it has that certain something that almost all Kurkdjian fragrances have.
It is sweet and fruity, reminding me of some kind of candy.
You can perceive the blackberry, but I would say it’s more of a forest fruit mix, with raspberry and others.
Even a hint of jasmine occasionally shines through.
For layering, I can very well imagine Jardin Bohème Episode Romantique.
Absolutely delicious, and the sillage and longevity are great.
Perhaps a bit too dominant for everyday wear, but perfect for going out.
