Prada L'Homme. Promoted by Jeremy Fragrance as the "clean man"; a professional, clean office or everyday scent. Sounds good, right? And one thing to note about this recommendation from our (favorite) YouTuber is that, for a change, not too much was promised.

Now to my opinion and story about this fragrance. About 2 months ago, I ordered my first sample of Prada L'Homme here in the Souk and was immediately taken with it. As fate would have it, the occasion of my recently passed high school graduation finally provided the opportunity to wear a suit again. Unlike the vast majority of my peers (classmates), I love and loved the feeling of wearing a suit, and I was accordingly excited to slip into one again.

Suit on, tie tied, and now the question of the matching fragrance arose. And yes, I was really glad to have a sample of Prada L'Homme at home. It arrived yesterday and I had never tested it before, but this day was meant to serve as an experiment. Of course, it could have backfired, but based on the reviews and notes, I felt (correctly) secure. So I applied 5 sprays and wow, I liked the opening.

In the first 2-3 minutes, I detected an alcoholic touch, but this was quickly overshadowed by the very dominant and characteristic iris. Alongside this floral, quite heavy note, there is also a subtle yet extremely successful underpinning with the spice of pepper.

The fragrance unfolds quite linearly, not in a boring sense, but rather in the sense of a harmonious composition. Over time, the scent becomes less intrusive and also more bearable close to the skin (previously it was a bit too much of a good thing). Furthermore, the fragrance in the drydown, at least for me, becomes somewhat sweeter and warmer; generally just more pleasant, but also less noticeable.

In the first 2 hours, this fragrance has an incredible sillage. During this time, I received 2 compliments, so I am sure that those around me can smell it. Additionally, and this I really appreciate, the scent was also above average strong for me during this time. This is all the more gratifying since I belong to the type of person who often can't smell their own fragrance after a while. After the aforementioned (maximum) 2 hours, the radius in which one is perceived steadily and unfortunately quite quickly diminishes. After 4 hours, I can only smell it closely, and after about 6 hours, I had to make an effort to perceive anything at all. However, one must definitely give this fragrance credit for performing really well in the initial phase.

All in all: A top fragrance! It fits perfectly with smart clothing, conveys a noble and valuable feeling, and encourages an upright posture. With this fragrance, you definitely don't have to hide and simply feel good and confident. Based on my previous testing experience, it is well received by both men and women and has not encountered (strong) rejection anywhere, meaning it is a very universally compatible fragrance.

In addition to the regular version, the Prada L'Homme Intense has also joined my collection in the last 2 weeks, which I also appreciate very much. If I find the time, I will review this one as well and highlight some parallels and differences. However, as can be seen from the purchase of another version of this fragrance, I am definitely enthusiastic about Prada's flagship. I can only recommend to every perfume lover, yes, even every perfume enthusiast, to get a decant of this fragrance (and also the Intense version) and test it. While I would almost want to give a "blind buy recommendation," I still advise testing first, as I do not want to bear the burden of responsibility for a misguided purchase induced by me. So I wish you all happy and cheerful testing, and I hope I could spark some interest in a great fragrance for some of you!

First, about the rather "unimportant" things. The bottle is, in my opinion, nice, but not exactly the best. My predecessors have already sufficiently pointed out the similarities to certain "toys." The sprayer of the bottle surprised me greatly; it sprays very high-quality and well compared to many other fragrances in this price range.
Now to the part that probably motivated you to read the review. The scent.

This fragrance composition opens with a blend of lavender and vanilla, initially with an alcoholic touch that quickly dissipates. Bergamot, which according to the description should also define the top notes, I cannot detect, but that's okay; it smells good without it!

In my perception, the scent progresses relatively linearly, which I personally find quite pleasant. The lavender, which is very dominant at the beginning, fades away, and a sweet composition of vanilla and amber shapes the olfactory experience. If one takes the time to analyze the scent closely, the coffee note becomes more present in one's own perception; however, I find it rather inappropriate to label this fragrance as a "coffee scent." Although the note, as mentioned, is indeed perceptible, it is more subtle and serves as an underlying ingredient in the overall composition. If a buyer has the same intention as I did at the time of purchase, to smell like coffee to the untrained nose of the surroundings, I believe this is not the right choice. The "headline" of this review describes this scent quite succinctly and aptly, in my opinion. The buyer receives the experience of a visit to a café, where not only coffee is offered, but also sweet and doughy goods of various kinds. I smell, in this fragrance, even though not mentioned, a subtle honey note, for example.
In conclusion, the scent brings significantly more sweetness and less coffee than expected; how to evaluate this is left to each individual.

I would describe the longevity of the scent as average. On my skin, the scent lasts about 6 hours, but starting from the 4th hour, it loses its sillage and is only detectable close to the skin; however, especially in the first hours, it is well noticeable to those around.

In summary, I don't feel inclined to recommend a purchase here, but I also wouldn't advise against buying it. Depending on how much value one places on the actual perceptibility of the scent note "coffee," one can either be greatly disappointed or discover a new favorite fragrance. My search for the scent that primarily smells like freshly ground coffee will definitely not end here, but I am glad to welcome "Rochas Man" to my collection!

Contrary to the prevailing opinion that the scent smells too cheap or chemical, I must clearly state that there is an unjustified and exaggerated bashing going on here. Comparing this fragrance to Le Male is of course not sensible, as it has a completely independent fragrance DNA.
Mint and citrus scents dominate both the top note and the fragrance in its later development. After some time, the musk becomes more present, making the scent "sweeter," which I personally like. All in all, it's great to wear in summer, especially for younger men or teenagers. Thumbs up, a refreshing summer fragrance.

Contrary to my assessment that the scents from Rituals are no longer composed with the necessary refinement (wherever that may come from), I must say that this fragrance is a true masterpiece. In my opinion, it is by far the best scent (along with Bleu Byzantine) from the Rituals "Eau de Parfum" collection and is especially great to wear in the autumn/winter. The longevity is superb, and the combination of amber and musk is easily detectable.
In my opinion, it is definitely worth a visit to a Rituals store.

The perfume is unknown and to my knowledge only available in the Canary Islands at the store Fundgrube (or on the website of this chain), but if the opportunity to purchase arises, it is definitely recommended. Sweet notes, which for me still have an aquatic touch. For me, it is my absolute favorite scent, probably primarily due to very nice associated memories with this fragrance. However, I think this scent can also objectively evoke enthusiasm. The longevity is not the best, but I would rate it as slightly above average. All in all, a good fragrance for a good price.
