Heartache
Why did you disappoint me so much? I had so much hope in you, the pyramid sounds so wonderful.. Even the name alone, I love Nosferatu. But not you. Violets. Dirt. Dust. Synthetics. And on top of that, barely perceptible.
I almost wanted to import you from the States when you hit the market. I didn't manage to. Luckily, actually. And then I got you as a sample and you treat me like this. Is this supposed to be a punishment? I take it personally, anyway.

Ouch, my jaw
In my opinion, the fragrance is being unfairly judged. I admit, it is shrill, scratchy, loud, and does indeed smell a bit like hairspray. After half a bottle, I needed a break for a few months. Still, I am a fan and receive compliments all the time.

Is there anyone else who knows that feeling when you bite into such a tart apple that it really makes your jaw ache? This feeling has been transformed into a fragrance. In the best possible way. It is not sour at all, just incredibly tart. I will buy it again.

Repeat after me: NOT a perfume
I don’t understand them. The people who buy a bottle that says “not a perfume” and then complain that they didn’t get a fragrance.
Of course, one shouldn’t evaluate it as a perfume; that’s completely logical to me. It’s a molecule that enhances your own body scent. Naturally, this molecule also has a certain scent of its own, which you have to like. I love it. Such a gentle and incredibly clean spice. Clean without a soapy smell? Ever since I got Not a Perfume, everything makes sense.

I also use Not a Shower Gel and Not a Body Lotion to envelop my entire skin.

I maintain the upper hand. The scent doesn’t take over me. No hierarchy struggles of “am I wearing the scent or is the scent wearing me?” my rank is not contested.

Also absolutely fantastic for layering, but I always recommend applying it on the skin and the perfume afterwards on the clothing.

Petition for Renaming
I am not at all satisfied with the name of the fragrance.. Bonbon Pop. Sure, it is definitely gourmand, but it has so much more depth than the name suggests. When I think of “Bonbon Pop,” I imagine a cheesy teenage scent. Almost insulting for such a complex composition. I also don’t smell any candies. What I do smell is a sweet peach, led by dominant musk on a leash. So sweet and yet so deep.
It is my absolute favorite.

Love and Respect
As a debutante in the field of Nasomatto, I chose Blamage as my first fragrance. No regrets. I would go so far as to say it is now one of my favorites. Very few make it into this circle.

When purchasing, I advise against testing it on a strip. The aggressive musk has you in a chokehold. But in the drydown, there's only a last hint of it left. Suddenly, I smell a slightly creamy and sweet peach. How wonderful! From that moment on, it also becomes very intimate and tender, without losing its spicy, hard undertone. Like a loving father who subtly lets you feel his strictness time and again. But it is exactly this balance that I am constantly searching for.
The rating of the bottle is purely subjective. It is designed with high quality and artistic value. Just not my style.
