I could really smell ripe blueberries, or even a homemade blueberry jam that isn´t overly-sweet. This mixed with a beautiful classic rose scent.
I'm not sure if I would classify this as a gourmand scent, however, I can absolutely picture a blueberry pie with little sugar and rose water in the dough, as well as sprinkled on top

Even though this is not for me, personally, I still think it is Very Pretty!!

I see this as the perfect scent for brunch, coffee date or drinks with your girlfriends, date night, summer dinner al fresco, a picnic at the park and a self-care afternoon. This is one’s for the girly girls, the flirty women, you get the vibe ^-^

After spraying this only once on top of my hand, I kept smelling it throughout the afternoon, even after washing my hands at least 5 times. On me, it lingered for around 5 hours with good Silliage & about 3 more closer to the skin.

I tried my Oriana sample & this one side by side and I Personally cannot smell a difference between the two in the dry down, only the openings are a bit different but that only lasts about a minute or two.

I Had been considering buying Oriana by PDM since I first smelled it last year but then yesterday I tried this absolute gem at my local Zara & my need for this scent has been fixed at a fraction of the price! The resemblance is astonishing and on my skin, this one performs even better!

As for the Love by Killian comparison, I’d say that very much like Oriana, they are sisters but not twins. Love is a bit softer and more marshmallowy, whereas Oriana and Velvet Shadow are a bit more orange blossom prominent, in a good way.

The bottle's cap is a bit too tight but that is the only con i can find in this.

For the price, you truly can't go wrong with it. I recommend you at least try it!

There is something about My Way that lifts my spirit right away when I smell it. I find it has a very bright and bubbly personality, without feeling "too young" or "too mature", perfectly versatile.

I mainly get a bubblegummy tuberose with a bright jasmine and fresh orange blossom + bergamot accord. The base notes seem to perfectly compliment these, without ever getting overpowering. It does get a bit more vanilla-creamy on my skin sometimes, but it usually remains bright and "naturally sweet".

Not the greatest performer during colder weather, neither the worst, it lasts around 4-5 hours with a nice scent bubble and leaving a soft scent trail, after that it becomes closer to the skin until it fades. However above 15°C it performs a lot better, lasts all day and projects very nicely!!


I believe anyone can wear any scent they like, no matter their age, who they are or how they look/dress like. With that being said, 2 main types of people come to my mind witht his scent: A very laid-back, yet chic 20-something who enjoys being in nature, picnics and tea shops; and a very classy, knowledgable lady with an immaculate sense of style, could be looking simple or very fun, mixing patterns and playing with colors, yet always does it in an elegant way and keeps a young, loving and fun spirit ^-^

To me, this is one of the most comforting scents I own, perhaps due to the lavender note?

I mainly get the smell of some sort of lavender (vanilla)syrup drizzled on top of fragrant, freshly picked red and white roses. My nose does not distinctly detect the jasmine or pear notes, they are very much in the background, as supporting notes to round up the scent.

The longevity of it is crazy on my skin, I sprayed it it at 5pm, while at home* and could still smell it until I decided to shower the next day (I'd say I did around 2pm or so... hey, we all deserve a lazy day every now and then hahah) and lasted Days on my pullover.

It projects quite nicely as well, without being overwhelming. So, people around you can smell it while you leave a soft, pleasant scent trail during the first 5-6 hrs. It performs quite nicely and if you decide to wear it for work/Uni/school, it will definitely carry you throughout the day.

I would say this can easily be an all-year-round scent because of its warm and cosy, yet freshly floral nature, I might personally go a little light on the sprays during a hot day and would probably skip it during a heat wave. But if you enjoy it, then go for it and enjoy it whenever you feel like :)

To me, this scent has a very flirty, girly and playful vibe. I would wear this when I want to smell sweet, not take myself too seriously and have fun

A syrupy cherry note is definitely the star here, the vanilla and tonka bean give it a little depth and I am guessing it is the floral notes that give it a slight "airy" vibe and keep the scent from being overwhelmingly sweet to my nose.

Longevity is around 4-6 hrs on my skin, with a very nice projection during the first 2 hours, then gives you a nice scent bubble until it finally fades to become a pleasant vanilla skin scent. This lasts about 3 days on a scarf/clothes, so if it doesn't last on your skin, try spraying your outfit with it, you might get a better longevity that way :)

I definitely prefer this during colder days, I don't mind it when I'm inside a closed space and so far I've had no complaints, which is good hahah it can also be a very nice winter-spring transitional scent, in my opinion. If you like sweet scents no matter the weather, I think this would be lovely on a summer evening as well, Then again, wear whatever You Enjoy whenever you like! ^-^
