As already mentioned several times, "By the Fireplace" really smells as if one had spent a nice evening at the campfire and "burned" marshmallows and other sweet treats over the fire. So very smoky in campfire style but on the other hand nice sweet gourmand and really tasty. The campfire smoky and the sweet gourmand marshmallow-like harmonize really well with each other so that you can wear this fragrance well, No, VERY well, but you have to like smoky fragrances.

Find that if you close your eyes, you could really sit straight by the campfire and let marshmallows turn gold. The only thing missing is the crackling and an exciting story that a buddy tells.

H/S in my opinion good, on my skin about 8-9h with sport!

You really must have smelled something, even if you only get one bottling. Recommendation goes out! :)

In the opening it doesn't smell of coffee at all, but after 2 minutes it lies down and starts to develop. It now smells like a delicious coffee candy served with vanilla on a rose petal, so very creative.

So if you like coffee or, even better, smells like delicious coffee, you can do little wrong with this scent.

Coffee, rose and vanilla alternate until the bitter end

Reminds me of barbershop, but not in a negative sense. Starts quite fresh and slightly flowery also slightly citric.

The men among us who have already been to the barber's and have had their beards groomed with pleasure, know what I mean when they smell this scent for the first time. Smells like aftershave but in a positive sense, clean and fresh.

When I close my eyes and smell the scent, I see a bearded man who has just come from the barber on a sunny morning, he is well dressed and wearing sunglasses, he is on his way home to pack his things as he has a date with some friends at the swimming pool later.

Scent is also unisex according to my nose, so even a woman in a light summer dress with sun hat and sunglasses with the same intentions to go to the pool or to scoop an ice cream can wear it well ;)

All in all a great, clean, slightly citric-floral summer scent that fades away beautifully woody.

Kinda brings back memories of that summer. :)

As already mentioned above, immediately after spraying on a flood of sweet and cinnamon honey and in the background something oud, even if only very slightly.
Also here I have the desire to try a bite of it ;)

After about 5-10min, the honey comes out more and more and harmonizes very well with the cinnamon and the sweetness decreases slightly.

All in all, sweet honey bar with a very light oud in the background.

So according to my nose, the one in the opening smells like the only real Tom Ford, just as strong and somehow cloves, I sprayed both at the same time and the LPDO really has a 98% similarity to tobacco vanilla, but this disappears after 5-10min. Then the scent starts to develop. Light tonka bean, tobacco and slightly fruity-sweet vanilla. All in all a delicious gourmand scent that smells a bit like TV in the beginning and then later becomes smooth and pleasant. Definitely an alternative to Tobacco Vanilla, as it only costs a fraction. And has a similar "flair".
