Cardboardy sweet grape
I bought it blind because of the good reviews. At first I found it very synthetic. The grape in the middle is very sweet. At the end it smells ok, but the way to vanilla is way too long and synthetic for me. It's loud, almost shrill and hangs in your clothes forever, which is a good thing if you like the scent. Unfortunately a bad buy.
May move on.

Currently my daily companion
It's such a shame that this fragrance is no longer available to buy. At the moment I wear it almost every day as it fits in well with the run-up to Christmas. Chocolate, cocoa, a pinch of gingerbread spice and voila. A wonderfully cozy fragrance. Just the thing for winter. It's warming and has a slightly smoky note, at least for me. No gurlain vanilla in here for once, but I don't miss it either. A light rose rounds off the whole thing. A wonderful fragrance that lasts for many hours. Not too sweet.
A sample of the reissued Feve Gourmand variant has been ordered and if it comes close to the original, the search is over.
Anyone who loves cozy winter gourmand fragrances should try Gourmand Coquin.

the best drydown
This scent is unisex in my opinion and certainly wearable by a lady. I love the drydown with the strong vanilla and tabacco note the most. It turns quite sweet on me.
The opening is also very pleasant with the pink pepper and lemon, however i find the middle quite unpleasant, but you know the best is still to come. Probably the sage.
This is the first Maison Margiela big bottle I have bought after purchasing a sample box. By the fireplace will be next. They have a similar DNA, but different enough for me to want them both.
For me Jazz Club is not just for going out, but also a daytime scent if I want to feel strong and put together. Maybe not for over 30 Degrees, but all temperatures under that.
At the moment my favourite Autumn scent. Try it!

my favourite of the sample collection
This reminds me a bit of one of my first favourite early 20th perfums, Jil Sunder N4 with it's strong honey note. 2 of that original sample collection i had to give away, but this alongside the mexique are the best. A very sweet honey opening calms down to a absolutely beautiful Vanilla Tonka drydown, which I find wonderful. It also mixes well with more woody perfumes. The price is very reasable and it lasts a few hours on my as a very close skin scent. Unoffensive for people near you.

sweet and vanillic, great for layering
Edp spray: as a vanilla fan i was dubious of the low price, but I actually really like this! It does not even last an hour on me, but i find it the best for layering, if i want to make another perfume sweeter and more vanilla or to go to sleep. Will get the oil as well. The price is fab too!
