... is this warm, deep dark scent that reminds me of sinking into a buttery soft, velvety leather sofa.
Brutally strong but never intrusive, for me exactly on point, this leather fragrance is top reference class, at this price an absolute no-brainer and puts light-years of distance between itself and many other "highly hyped" """TOP scent""".
Absolute recommendation to buy!!!

... when I was younger, I had my first car,
it was a Beetle, an old Beetle, not quite sealed underneath.
So it happened that one had to dry the windows from the inside with a chamois more often in the colder season.
This leather often ended up in the footwell, where it was already damp to wet and """rotted""" away.
When you wipe baby vomit off the seat with such a chamois, sorry, but I can't think of a better comparison, leave it for an hour or two, and then take a sniff, you get the result of a few sprays of this little water on my skin or, as I perceive this scent on myself.
Thank God this fragrance doesn't cost the earth either, so my expenses and flops from blind purchases are still manageable, because this little water will not be in regular use for me either.

His scent trail somehow reminded me of a summer fragrance by Bogart from the late 70s or early 80s that I once had, never found again, lost sight of, but never forgot.
This freshness, this masculine citrus freshness, loud but unexcited, tidy, this linearity that I like in some fragrances because it simply fulfills its purpose.
I found it again and thank this "colleague" for that.
Since then, it has been an absolute MUST in the warm season.

I had the opportunity to test Blue Talisman about 3 months ago in the best perfumery in Hanover and found the scent to be good.
Since I consider ALL prices for so-called niche fragrances and even high-end designers to be absolutely inflated (no fragrance is worth more than 100 euros, and even that is questionable),
I focused on the so-called dupes.
In all reviews, the Legacy by Maison Asrar stood out.
Ordered, received, sprayed on this morning around 9:00, 2 sprays on each forearm, once on the right, left, front and back of the neck.
Now it is 20:38, so almost 12 hours ago, and the little potion is still performing in all directions and not just close to the skin.
What Asrar has put together is simply world-class in all areas and surpasses the "Blue" from front to back.
At least on my skin, on this day, and solely in my humble opinion, because you know, one can never generalize such things.
Clear recommendation for BT lovers, but a prior test is always advisable.

Hooked by so many positive reviews, I drove to the world's best fragrance store in Hanover,
to satisfy my curiosity about Malibu Bayparty.
Two sprays on the wrist, three swipes, nose in and WHOAAAAAA,
ice-cold freshly squeezed lime juice in its purest form, what an opening...
About 3 minutes later, hey, what the f... is that???
Some note of, hm, freshly extinguished but still smoldering rubber???
Somehow indefinable for my untrained nose, definitely nothing good...
Wait and drink tea...
Now about 4 hours have passed and what remains is a creamy coconut soap without any side accents.
I actually had in mind to buy this little water blind,
good thing I was able to hold myself back, because THAT is definitely not for me.
