It's a mind game all right.
I received this from Scentbird, and at first I thought maybe they'd sent me the wrong thing. Where's the licorice? Cardamom? Cocoa? Then I saw someone else describe it as a "headache inducing white floral," which is exactly how I would describe it. There is no cake, there is no licorice, just white florals and a synthetic note that's like an ice pick in my head in its unpleasantness. I generally adore licorice as a note (Lolita Lempicka is in my all time top five) and this maybe had a licorice whip waved in its general direction, at best.

Sorry Mind Games. Hard pass, especially for what they're charging.

It's Cute
I had no idea this fragrance was so polarizing. I have a theory it must be like cilantro - some people can't get enough (me!) and to others it tastes horribly of soap. It's a genetic thing, apparently. I also fall into the "Loves Tutti Twilly" category because I find it cute and fun.

Part of it might be nostalgia - I tried lychee fruit for the first time when visiting my boyfriend (now husband) at his college and he took me to a Thai restaurant and they served lychee with vanilla ice cream for dessert. Tutti Twilly hits that sweet lychee in a Thai restaurant vibe that takes me back to 1998, when my biggest worry was passing my Chemistry exam.

Bubblegum on the forest floor
I'm a sucker for the scent of cloves. Lush describes the fragrance as crossing sweet bubblegum with metallic notes and spray paint, and I don't really get anything metallic OR paint-y. But definitely the spicy bubblegum (like the old fashioned kind that came wrapped in waxed paper) and a lot of damp moss and earth. Longevity is nuclear. Tank Battle is a really unique fragrance that manages to be a bit odd yet warmly comforting at the same time. For something that *should* come across as gourmand, all that damp moss keeps it firmly out of foodie territory. I really love this one.

NIce Cool Water Scent
This is a super wearable, friendly aquatic scent. It's perfect for warm weather, but I also enjoyed wearing it in Winter, to remind of me warmer times and climes. I've never been to Paris, but certainly I'd like to imagine myself there on a warm Summer day. This really puts me more in mind of those classic bright blue and white photos of Greece than it does of Paris, because it's giving off strong Mediterranean vibes, with the fig and salty aquatic notes. 10/10 would wear all the time in hot weather.

Nice Vanilla
I don't own a lot of vanilla scents, as they typically get too sweet and cloying. This one is really nice! It's a not-sweet vanilla that exudes comfort and coziness. I liked it on rainy days in the Spring but it's not too much for Summer either. Longevity is decent, I can still catch whiffs from my skin after a few hours. This is nice work!
