Oriental, Oriental, Oriental!
Such a beautiful oil, it brings a slightly piercing woody note with it.
Upon first skin contact, it hits you directly in the nose, but it has a wonderfully soft and woody drydown. It works perfectly in combination with fragrances from Arabian Oud. For this price, I can only recommend it further.

Layla - The Spice Queen in every sense.
Layla by Xerjoff has fascinated me from the very beginning. The fragrance opens with a refreshing citrus note that offers a clear, zesty start. But as the first minutes pass, a wonderful floral heart note unfolds, presenting an elegant lightness with roses and jasmine. However, what truly makes Layla special is the subtle spice that gradually comes to the forefront. This spicy dimension gives the fragrance a certain depth and complexity without ever feeling too sharp or overwhelming. The gentle warmth of cinnamon or perhaps a hint of clove adds an interesting, almost mysterious twist that continually surprises me. This spice perfectly embraces the floral and woody notes, creating an exciting balance between freshness and depth. The vanillic and woody warmth of amber gives Layla a sensual richness that gently supports the spicy component while leaving a warm, pleasant feeling on the skin. It’s as if the fragrance offers a soft, spicy hug that remains present throughout the day without ever being intrusive. What I particularly appreciate about Layla is this perfect blend of floral, fresh, and spicy notes. It is a perfume that can be worn both in everyday life and on special occasions. The longevity is solid, and the sillage is so measured that the fragrance never comes across as overpowering.

A Timeless Classic - Musc Ravageur
For me, Musc Ravageur is a perfect all-rounder for winter. As already mentioned, it is a timeless classic that stands out particularly for its warm and seductive DNA.
At the beginning, spicy notes of nutmeg and cinnamon dominate, accompanied by a distinctive musk note. The musk in this fragrance feels slightly animalistic to me; however, I cannot agree with comparisons to a train station toilet in any way, as it comes across as quite elegant and profound. Over time, the scent develops into a softer and more powdery experience, with a pleasant warmth that hugs the skin.

The fragrance never stays the same but unfolds throughout the day, losing its initial sharpness to create a refined, almost velvety aura. I can personally recommend Musc Ravageur to anyone looking for an elegant, powerful, yet not overpowering scent.
