An insight into modern Eros
It's been a long time since I wrote reviews. In the end, I decided to write reviews again, as they had given me joy and pleasure. And as a "comeback" I will start with the "Eros Parfum | Versace".

My fragrance journey began with "Eros (Eau de Toilette) | Versace", a fabulous, nostalgic fragrance in my eyes. However, as we can see, Versace has been screwing things up in recent years with the Eros range. That's when the eau de parfum and the perfume version came out. And the nice clerk in the store slipped me a sample of the Eros perfume on the side and I found this a perfect opportunity to dedicate a review to it.

Sprayed on and off we go,
First of all, you are not overwhelmed by the mint, because the mint is no longer there. That's a shame, but it doesn't break your neck. In the opening (approx. first 20 minutes) you are overwhelmed by this combination. pleasant mandarin, then a synthetic freshness from the possible lemon. In the aftermath, notes play along and these criminals are a mixture of lavender and sage, still a little difficult for me to keep separate. And then about half an hour later, the gentle vanilla comes to the fore and is quite present. And the fragrance marches along at this pace for around 7.5 hours.
So pretty good longevity. Sillage is not weak but also overwhelming.
And despite the beautiful composition, it still lacks that pop, or rather that magical something....

So then it's clear to me that Eros EdT is and remains my favorite.

For the entry into the world of fragrances (almost) perfect
Jaguar is a British car brand that currently produce sports cars as well as SUVs. And for the release of their SUVs "Pace" they also brought out a fragrance with the appropriate name. Yesterday I looked at the Pace (SUV) times more closely, unfortunately absolutely not my case. Modern looking cars are not eye candy for me. Jaguar is a house that makes good inexpensive fragrances and Pace is one of those. I recently grabbed Pace blind in the store as I was still missing a fragrance for spring/summer. Pace is titled here as "the best respectively strangest drugstore fragrance/shower gel fragrance" and I would like to revise this in more detail.

Before I get into the fragrance description / composition ininterpret or desweiteren I would like to mention first briefly, because I think that Pace is one of the fragrances that you should buy first as a beginner, because it is more "unusual" than other shower gel fragrances and other reasons that will be described below.

Sprayed, sniffed, shower gel, clearly a full load of shower gel that is not too pungent or alcoholic/artificial, but rather rounded and cool. Next to the shower gel is also the "green" apple, which really represents the color green in my opinion (with the moss) in this fragrance at least, only the apple catches in the background with and is neither prominent or strong and dissipates in 1-2 hours. To complete the top note is still missing the moss, which I call crystal clear, approachable and not woody moss or as the fragrance pyramid says: "crystalline moss".
After 25-30 seconds later, pepper slowly enters the stage, yet it is light, not pungent and not littered or prominent, a good dose just.
In the later "drydown" help out three essentially important fragrance notes that, relatively "enrich" the durability. Amber, cashmeres and lavender are the culprits that offer a certain something. There's not too much to tell about the scent progression, except that it has one, yet is simple/laid back and not monotonous or complex.

The longevity is decent unlike (almost all) other shower gel scents, because here we are between 6-7 hours that is excellent for a shower gel scent and the sillage is rich/powerful in the 1-1.5 hour, then skin tight.

Also an important point that goes to the value as well as original pace. And clearly stands out from the other shower gel fragrances, as the Pace is extraordinary and more long-lasting. And compared with, for example, "Chrome (Eau de Toilette) | Azzaro" or a "First Instinct Blue Man | Abercrombie & Fitch" just to mention two candidates, lasts longer and sniffs more extraordinary. (Nevertheless, I do not want to talk the "Chrome (Eau de Toilette) | Azzaro" and the "First Instinct Blue Man | Abercrombie & Fitch" badly).

My recommendation: recommended for any beginner who wants to start with fragrances or is looking for a simple, great spring and summer fragrance, as it is suitable for everyday use and can be worn at any time. The only drawback to the Pace is its linear scent progression.

Solid bottle weight, sprayer is decent and the bottle or design looks simple and good. In the price / performance ratio, there is nothing to complain about, because the Pace plays in the inexpensive segment (20 € for 100 ml) and the quality / bottle fits anyway and the durability / sillage.

A basket full of lychees and mint
4711, a brand that offers many eau de colognes, about 30+ fragrances and that's a lot. 4711 has even different collections such as, for example, the Remix, Acqua Colonia Intense and among others also the Acqua Colonia series. The other day I looked into the 4711 house and I picked out the "Lychee and White Mint".

In "Lychee and White Mint" is to consider that the scent is kept very simple, plain and almost absolutely doesn’t change over time.

The fragrance starts here with lychee and mint, who would have thought? In any case, is as already just written, no fragrance development available. And this is neither bad nor terrible in my opinion. It is simply linear.
The first seconds the poor mint or rather "peppermint" spends alone, gradually the lychee comes out on stage with the mint. The peppermint isn’t pungent, but rather refreshing and pleasant. The lychee, on the other hand, is sweet-ish and slightly fruity, also it has a bit of a pop. It is a constantly iterative battle between the mint and the lychee. And this lingers as long as the scent hasn’t faded. The scent seems solid overall and there is only little to complain about here, but the longevity is particularly weak and the sillage is intimate.

My recommendation: buy the "Lychee and White Mint" at best in the summer or you like to wear it almost everywhere, because it is suitable for everyday use, but do not forget to take the fragrance with you.

Neither in the design, or in the presentation of the fragrance there is anything to criticize, because the packaging is kept simple, the sprayer here is amazingly good, because you can even "control and adjust" the amount. And the bottledesign is also an eye-catcher, for me at least.
The price/performance ratio is quite solid here, because I paid for the 170ml bottle, 30€ and that’s quite inexpensive. A clear recommendation, solid fragrance, there is just little to complain about.

“green-tea in a bottle”
Banana Republic is known in the first place (on Parfumo) for its good fragrances that are extremely inexpensive. Recently I came across the brand and hastily acquired the "78 - Vintage Green" blind. The "78 - Vintage Green" is called here "the summer scent" and this I would like to revise times accurately.

The composition here is completely simple and dewy, yet penetrating and ethereal. "So more than just solid or mild."

The scent starts with an overdose of bergamot, which sniffs very realistically here, but is also a slight acidity that seems very soft and rounded, but in no way ghastly or sultry/unpleasant. Also, the tea note joins in, to be more specific the "green tea note." The tea note is subtle and somehow approachable, but this is in no way comparable to an iced tea note. Finally, this composition is missing the green leaves or the green note in this fragrance, which is not grassy or pungent, it is rather perfectly blended in and seems soft, pleasant and subtle. All in all, quite a solid fragrance that has no gripes. Theoretically, the "78 - Vintage Green" is comparable to an eau de cologne, because it is just based on the bergamot, but has a better longevity than an eau de cologne.

A statement from my friend, "This must be worn by a person who wears vintage clothes, but in brown and also drinks green tea. 9,5/10"

The longevity surprised me with this scent, because we're talking 8+ hours and the sillage is really good.

My recommendation is, "buy it in the summer and wear it, it will probably last longer and be stronger". A beast he could be for me in the summer."

The bottle is also sleek and massive (heavy too), a metal cap, a good sprayer and also most importantly fabulous packaging, although it sounds very tempting, the price is even more tempting. It is extremely inexpensive, which is also a plus point in my eyes. Incidentally, the fragrance is as already mentioned, a summer fragrance, yet it is also wearable in the spring. Almost already as a signature fragrance designable. Then I conclude the review with the question. Currently available or discontinued? Sadly discontinued, I’m just kidding. It is still available and it’s an absolute recommendation for the summer.
