Prada still doesn't disappoint
This fragrance resembles the original, with some minor differences. This fragrance seems to have added some sparkling ginger in the opening and has dialed back on the overall powdery aroma. I have seen some say that this fragrance doesn't lave the same longevity as the original, however from my journey with this fragrance I would have to disagree. I love this flanker, I love the original L'Homme, however I actually prefer the ginger and less projected powdery aroma. When i purchased this fragrance I was looking for something to replace Dior Homme Eau, I still feel neither this or the original did that, but I still added 2 great fragrances to my collection.

Safe clean everyday fragrance
A really good scent, fresh, clean and soapy, suitable for daytime use.

I feel a lot of iris, which makes it a bit sweet, but it is well balanced by the neroli which instead gives it that aura of cleanliness.

Overall it is not an ultra masculine perfume, on the contrary, it is definitely unisex and versatile, it adapts well to any context as long as it is daytime, as its simplicity and linearity does not make it sexy and inviting enough for an evening / night use.

Certainly a safe purchase for everyday use and with a really high quality / price ratio.

Class in a bottle!
Love at first sniff!
This is a masterpiece of a fragrance. Classy and clean all the way through. Comes off as being suitable for spring and summer but I think one can pull it off in the fall too. This would be a stable in my collection for years to come.

A Clean Fragrance
Notes: Amber, Iris, Ginger, Neroli, Sandalwood and Cedarwood

Perfumer: Danjela Andrier

L'Homme L'Eau opens fresh and zesty but not bright. Iris combined with Neroli creates a gorgeous white floral blend with a touch of aquatic. Overall a really good scent, prefect for casual wear, fresh, Soapy and clean.

Feeling at home with Prada L'homme line
First of all let me say I'm in love with the whole Prada L'Homme line so do not expect this to be negative review. To put everything into context, I have to mention the whole line one by one.

My journey with this line started with the original L'Homme and it was a love at first sniff. It's all you hear about it and then some. Clean, unique, professional, unforgettable. Great for spring / summer day use. Very likable and inoffensive. Nobody will complain about the way you semll.

I couldn't resist and shortly after the purchase of L'Homme I went to a store to smell also L'Homme Intense and L'Homme L'Eau. From the two I immediatelly decided to purchase Intense version as a counterpart to the OG. It is more aggresive, sharper version suitable for cold weather and night occasions. Performance is almost unbeliveable: 12+ hours with 3-4 hours of great projection and sillage. Just wonderful!

On the other hand I did not enjoy L'Eau that much at first. Sure, it is a fresher version of the original, but that goes only for the opening. Once it hits the mid and later a drydown, it loses part of the magic the original has. At the time I felt it is not necessary as for the office use original L'Homme has it all and I always felt this line is targeted for professional environment / dressed up occasions where you more often spend time in air conditioned rooms. If you are looking for a summer freshie, you can do much better then L'Eau imho.

But wait: isn't that what everybody says about L'Homme Absolu? Excessive, unnecessary release? In my opinion? ABSOLUtely NOT!!!

Instead of thinking why not to like it I immediately discovered what hole it is supposed to fill in the line. Imagine you spend your work day wearing L'Homme during the spring / summer and then decide to hit the downtown with your colleagues for some evening dinner / drink. (I know, during this Covid situation it sounds like a sci-fi). Here the Intense version would be too much and that's when it's the right time for Absolu. You don't even need to worry about getting rid of the L'Homme version and you can just layer it with Absolu and be ready to go!

Later in the year when the weather starts to get colder, original L'homme might not be strong enough to cut through the cold air even during the day and Absolu becomes great substitute for your daily office driver. I find the performance to be on the level of Intense version, but it is a bit less loud and better suited for daily use in professional environment. Combine it with Intense and you are covered for nights out/ business dinners / drinks.

I noticed some people are complaining about the performance of Absolu...maybe I'm just lucky, but it performs the same as the Intense on my skin. Yesterday at 1pm I sprayed my forearm once and I could still smell it when I woke up today at 8am. Not projecting, but it still was easilly recognizable skin scent. And did I mention I took a shower before I went to bad? It's a monster!

After falling in love with L'Homme / Absolu / Intense I decided to give L'Eau another chance and you can probably guess how it all went :) Yes, I went with a full bottle of that one as well as Water Splash. Honestly if there is any redundancy in this line, it's between these two flankers. They are very similar and if you do not need to own the whole line, you can easily skip one of these two. My recommandation would be to buy L'Eeu.

In my opinion the whole Prada L'Homme line is a masterpiece and every professional should have in their arsenal.

L'Homme L'Eau is the perfect powdery scent for summer/spring. It´s fresh (ginger), elegant, with a nice Iris and the sweetness of the amber.

Smells like the idea of a perfume. Not a fan.
L’eau papier from diptyque does the “soft” skin scent much better than this.

What a beautiful range. This blue note flanker fits nicely between L'Homme and Intense as an even fresher alternative for warm summery days.

The younger innocent happier brother of Prada L'homme. Spring/summer scent, powdery and also a bit aquatic. Pleasant Ginger/Neroli touch.

Perfekter Duft fürs Büro. Riecht sauber und unaufdringlich.
Kann ich jedem empfehlen, ich würde allerdings das EdP vorziehen :)

Fresh, floral and clean scent for the modern man. Invokes the feeling of stepping straight out of the shower. Subtle and office appropriate.

The performance hasn’t changed and everything is as I remember it during the first incarnation of this review, from years back.
